Who knew this place even existed?? A lovely site in a scenic park in Westchester County, with a number of easy to follow trails. The dam is beautiful, with it's cascading water and before you go, read up on the history of this place (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Croton_Dam) - quite an amazing feat of engineering. We were there on a sunny day at the end of June and had a great time -- but it must be spectacular to see in the fall with the changing leaves. The park has picnic tables and toilet facilities, making it an easy place to bring the family.
