Thai, Japanese or Chinese are the offerings with a touch of class. A sushi bar along w/ a hibachi station and regular booths were our choices. We were allowed to have separate checks and drinks were served quickly. We ordered four different meals and the soup/salad course arrive w/in 10 minutes of ordering. Our 4 different meals arrived another 15 minutes later and they all were a success. The service was efficient and careful. Our check arrived w/out the waitress asking if we would like dessert and/or coffee. I have a feeling they lost some money there.
I had japanese this time and will return soon to try the Thai. The restaurant is a plus for Cortland and I hope people will turn out to enjoy what I did this evening. Lovely decor.

Went to Cortland and had a group looking for dinner on a Saturday night. The first restaurant was unwelcoming when they saw 12 people, the second too busy but wild ginger took us in happily. The salmon sushi was excellent, the hibachi enjoyable. The only downside was that it was very chilly in there to the point that they had space heaters set up. Even the wait staff stood in front of them between duties.

They took my order and brought my food but never came back to ask if I needed anything. Tried to get attention but just walked right by twice. The Waite person never smiled.

We had dinner at WGAF tonight; it was excellent! We had the chicken tempura and a Thai shrimp and noodle dish whose name I cannot remember. Both were excellent! AND for dessert we had tempura ice cream and Mochi (pronounced Moochie), which is red bean ice cream and green tea ice cream in some sort of thin pastry. Both were wonderful.

The atmosphere was very nice; hard to believe that the place was a sports equipment store in its last incarnation - they've done a wonderful job remodeling. Very calm and peaceful atmostphere with an hibachi bar and some other options that we didn't try.

Service was a trifle slow, but our server was sweet and charming enough to make up for it. A lovely evening, and a very nice place -- we are glad to add it to our list of preferred places in Cortland!
