Dined here with a group of 25 people. We were seated in the back room. The space itself looks a bit dated and is nothing fancy. Years ago, I always enjoyed Tony's food, so either things are not what they used to be or I now know what good food tastes like.
Everything was served family style for our group. The highlight of the meal was the bread basket. Two kinds of bread were served warm and were really good. We started off with an antipasto salad that included olives, lettuce, peppers, salami, mozzarella and soppressata. It was quite good. Next up was fried calamari. The calamari was large and tender, but very bland. There was no flavor to them at all. For the main course, we had Rigatoni with Vodka sauce, Chicken Marsala, Chicken Parmigiana and Eggplant Parmigiana. The rigatoni was OK, a bit overcooked with a heavy basil flavor, which isn't the norm for vodka sauce. The chicken Marsala, was just not good. The chicken and eggplant were better, but not great and they definitely felt like a little bomb in your tummy.
Service was average, but for me the food doesn't warrant a return visit.
