Exactly what you expect from a decent airport hotel. Rates are decent for the area, service was fast and friendly, room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. We took advantage of the shuttle which runs every 20 mins to the terminal. We took the shuttle before the one we originally planned and were glad we did. It's not a short ride, especially if the shuttle stops at multiple terminals.
Overall no complaints, just a decent, convenient airport hotel for the money, and exactly what we expected.
(Our one issue was the cab driver from midtown Manhattan who got us to the airport area then argued with us that there wasn't a LaGuardia Holiday Inn. Not the hotel's fault, and more amusing than anything.)

I recently stayed two nights at this Holiday Inn. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and it was extremely quiet. The restaurant was OK - lobster ravioli had too much cream sauce that overwhelmed the portion of ravioli. Another night, I had a steak special and it was very good. Good service - couldn't get the TV to work and they immediately sent someone to my room (in the evening) to fix it within 5 minutes. Close to the airport so it's very convenient.

The service was incredibly poor, there was what looked like dried blood on the interior of our room door, and food on the room floor when we checked in. I would not recommend staying here. We stayed here for two nights, Oct. 4th and 5th, 2013.

You can't go wrong with a Holiday Inn. For the nightly fee it was exactly you expect from an airport hotel. Yes the halls were a little dated, but the room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly snd welcoming. I will stay here again when I need to be by Laguardia Airport or Citifield in New York.

I have stayed at many of the hotels around La Guardia airport but after my wonderful experience at Holiday Inn LGA several years ago I have been staying there frequently and consistently for the following reasons: Great room rate, clean room with very comfortable bed, pillows and special amenities such as the shoe sponge for a quick shine before going to work in the morning. Also, the warm and caring hospitality from the staff and delicious meals from the restaurant which has a very lively environment in the evening cannot be measured.

Room Tip: I have always stay in a room with a king bed
