Cute little place. They offer sofa seating or tables & chairs. A bit pricy but nice for just a quiet coffee stop.

I'm from Washington state and was in dire need of a good cup of coffee. This place did not disappoint. I had a drip while a friend had a latte...both very good. We also enjoyed a huge bowl of oatmeal with raisins, brown sugar, nuts, and dried bananas. On another visit we again had coffee and an amazing cinnamon bun, bagal breakfast sandwich and keish. I would highly recommend coming here.

Its way too pricey here, it's like a local Starbucks but without the good tasting coffee. So far I am not impressed

This is an excellent place to stop for coffee, especially if you can sit outside an watch the world flow pasts. Inside can be tight, but the coffee makes it worth it. Also offers wine and beer in the evenings.

If you hike Storm King or go kayaking with one of the outfitters in town, 2 Alices is an excellent place to grab a small snack or get your caffeine fix. On my particular visit, I needed a place to pass time in Cornwall-on-Hudson while I waited for some people to come back from kayaking on the Hudson River. A local recommended that I go to 2 Alices. Located about 1/4 mile away from all of the other stores in the center of town, it shares a building with a spa/salon. The blue sign was pretty small, so I almost missed the entrance near the intersection of Academy Ave. and Hudson St.

Clearly, the locals seem to like the place because there was a steady stream of customers the entire time I was there. With large windows and vividly colored furniture and walls, the cafe is bright, cheery and a very pleasant place to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee. The little wall space that they have showcases what looks to be local artists. They have about 6 tables outside, about 8 or so inside and a few couches as well. The place averaged about 10 seated customers the entire time I was there, but there was plenty of space so that it never felt crowded. In fact, it was easy to take pictures without any other customers in the frame.

They serve the standard coffeehouse menu of hot, cold and frozen drinks along with a small selection of wine and beer, sandwiches and assorted baked goods (e.g. bagels, croissants, cookies, muffins and so on). They also had a small freezer filled with a few of Zora Dora's paletas (popsicles). If you don't know them, they are a small artisanal paleteria located across the river in Beacon, NY. Overall, prices were comparable to Starbucks....

Coffee (sm $1.50/ lg $1.95)
Cappuccino (sm $3.25 / lg $3.75)
Hot chocolate (sm $2.50 / lg $3.00)
Pina colada smoothie (sm $4.00 / lg $4.50)
Pumpkin chai latte (s, $4.25 / lg $4.75)
Assorted teas ($2.31....weird price, but that's what it said)
Sandwiches ($5.00)
Muffins ($2.50)

I had the pumpkin crumb muffin which was excellent (crispy/crunchy top and moist bottom) and a large coffee. Like most cafes, they provided complimentary WiFi access. Unlike some other places though, the connection at 2 Alices was very fast even though I saw 3 other people on their laptops (presumably connected as well). In addition, the owners must have renovated the space themselves before opening the cafe because they had outlets next to most of the tables along the windows and walls. A very nice and thoughtful touch. Service was pleasant and professional although not particularly friendly or chatty. All in all, I thought that 2 Alices was a real find and I can understand why the locals keep the place busy.
