This restaurant was recommended to us by the Cromwell Manor Inn. We like German food so we went hoping it would be good. It was better than good, it was excellent. The chef owner Hans came out to greet us and my friend spoke German with him. We ordered Escargot, Pan Seared Pork Tenderloin Zurichoise, Grilled Twin Filet Mignon Canterbury with melted gorgonzola and topped it off with spaetzle and that delicious red cabbage dish. The staff was pleasant and attentive. We enjoyed it so much, we went back the next night for appetizers overlooking the Brook on the terrace. Try the cheese fondue and the pappardelle noddles. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will go back often.
