I'm suddenly reminded why I dread Fairfield Inn's.. So hit or miss. This one is a miss.

Cable wasn't working, TV cut in and out. I called the front desk and they advised me to try tightening the cable or resetting the TV, neither helped. Decided to get some work done, the internet was painfully slow, kept timing out. Great. Went down to the "business center" which was a single terminal at the front desk; completely dumbed down. Could not type a web address in, could only use pre-set buttons to do basic functions. Enter key and backspace key were both disabled, WOW.

Thermostat in room didn't seem to work, set ti 65 but it was BLASTING heat. Woke up in the middle of the night feeling like I was in a sauna, wasn't even going to bother asking to switch rooms at that point.

This is a great hotel, if you're a fan of awful hotels.

Room Tip: Go somewhere else.

Nice, relatively new hotel, with great service and caring staff members. I've stayed here a number of times this quarter and have not been disappointed on any occassion. Rooms are quiet; beds are comfortable and everything is in line with Marriott's standards for a Fairfield Inn. The breakfast area is a little crowded, but the staff do a great job.

The Fairfield Inn was pretty, comfortable and I used my Marriott points so it was free.
The only problem was a bit of noise coming from the freeway behind the hotel but it diminished between 11pm and 7am. The breakfast was generous and had many selections.

Room Tip: Choose a room in front of the hotel as the freeway is behind the hotel. Front rooms would be quiete...

The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast bar was well stocked and food was good. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Cookies at check-in were a nice touch. The overall hotel experience was enjoyable and I will definitely stay there again.

Clean rooms, clean hotel, nice staff but certainly nothing exciting at all about the place and it's to far from Market St to walk to. For the money and convenience I would stay at the Raddison right down town, it's a far better hotel.

Room Tip: Get a front facing room, away from the highway and stay on the ground floor, below the highway. Bett...

We stayed here to visit the Glass museum, which you need the whole day for if you are to make the most of it.
Hotel was typical & what we expected apart from the bathroom, which was tiny & you had to close the door to have any space. No way could 2 people share it easily.
Everything else was good & the cookies were yummy!
Although it is right near the highway it is not noisy & the a/c was not too noisy either.
There is a Bob Evans & a Wendys right next door.
Also not far to Main Street & the Old Town.

We spent a night here while visiting the Corning Museum of Glass. When we were looking for a hotel for our stay, we weren't very pleased with the reviews of most of the hotels in the area. The Fairffield Inn was a little more expensive than many others, but we've never had a bad experience with this chain so we decided not to take a chance with the other hotels. We were not disappointed; It was well worth it; clean, comfortable, updated and the staff seemed to be ready to accommodate any need that we might have had. I believe that they really wanted to be sure that we had a good experience. The breakfast was really good...many hot and cold foods were available.
