“quick snack”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 14, 2014

We ate before coming to the museum but I got hungry again waiting for the glass studio appt for my kids to make projects. I just grabbed a couple slices of pizza and a Gold Peak Sweet Tea. Each item was $2.50 plus tax and it was convenient but would be outrageous for a family. There were some sandwich options and Chinese food options. Lots of drinks to choose from. It seemed like there were plenty of tables but this was mid-afternoon.

“Nice but too expensive with kids.”

The Glass Market Café is high quality for a museum but too expensive for families with kids. They should offer kid size meals with lower prices.

“Typical museum cafe food. ”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 27, 2014 via mobile

We ate lunch here because it was easier than leaving the museum and returning later.

It is what you would expect from museum cafe food It is a bit over priced ($2 for a small bottle of water, $2.50 for a tea or soda). There was pizza by the slice, an international assortment of entrees which change daily, sandwiches and freshly made salads.

I had a Caesar salad with chicken strips on it. It was filling and well dressed.

Friends had the soup of the day (cream of broccoli) and split a ham and cheese sandwich. All was ok but nothing special.

You cannot bring in food or drink to the museum but I saved my water bottle and refilled it from the drinking fountains and that was fine.

It gets quite busy from 12 to 1 so come before or later to be able to find a table. We were there at 11:45 and that was fine. Fifteen minutes later there were long lines and tables had filled up.

“Good food, reasonable price”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 25, 2014

Ate there during a visit to the Corning Museum. Had a wide range of options; pizza, sandwiches, pasta. Prices were a bit lower than I expected for a museum café, but higher than stopping at a fast food place.

“Food was quite reasonable”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 23, 2014

Before we started our tour we decided to grab a bite to eat. We purchased, two plates of pasta, chicken dish and a tofu stir fry. Everything was quite tasty and we found it quite reasonable. The only thing was there wasn't much tough but that could be because there wasn't a lot in the scoop that was handed out. Overall very good.
