Im with tour group, and I have no choice but to follow the group to all attraction on the way to Niagara Falls from Washington DC. And this is one them. The glass in museum Starting from the history of the glass it self. The glass variance are are magnificent. But the one that people waiting for is the show, glass making performance.

Thank you for your review. We are always excited to be included in a group's trip. The Hot Glass Show is a very popular demonstration, and as you may remember, it is just one of the 4 different live, narrated demos scheduled throughtout the day. We hope you had a great time in Niagara Falls and Washington DC! Thanks again for visiting and reviewing.

I liked all the demonstration that was provided at the museum. Make your own glass is by far the best experience there. Our instructor Kurt was very friendly and explained each process to us step by step. We made flower and sandblasted a container. He was very patient when we were doing our sandblasting container. The experience is worth trying even if it does cost money. *you need your glass to cool down, so plan to stay overnight somewhere close or have your creation shipped to you*

Thank you for your review. Your recommendation to participate in the Make Your Own Glass is a great one. Also, staying overnight makes good sense since, as you said, some of the pieces require cooling. It's also convenient that the admission ticket is good for 2 consecutive days. Good all-around advice. THANK YOU!

Thank you for including us in your Finger Lakes itinerary. We are glad you had such a fun time. Remember, your admission tickets are always good for 2 days in a row which is usually helpful when you buy the combination ticket with The Rockwell Museum of Western Art. We look forward to seeing you again. Thanks so much for the review!

My girls LOVE visiting CMOG! There is so much to see so plan on spending the entire day! Parking is easy and there's usually some sort of discount available for entry.

Thank you for your review and for making CMOG a part of your family's Corning experience. We do offer many discounts including: 19 and under FREE admission, AAA, military, student, senior, and local resident. Wait until your girls see the upcoming Bead Exhibit "Life on a String" (May 2013 opening) they might want to try their hand at bead art afterward. Thanks again!

I did not particularly want to take this trip but went because my grandchildren wanted me to. I'm glad I went. The demonstrations were very informative and I learned a lot. The artists made everything look so easy. What talent!

Thank you for your honest review. We like it when guests are pleasantly surprised with their experiences with the world of glass. Congratulations to your grandchildren for effectively convincing you to give it a try. I'm not sure what their ages are, but I'm hopeful that for the 19 year olds and younger that the FREE admission was a perk. We hope to see you again soon as we have many new upcoming exhibitions you're sure to enjoy (and the live demonstrations are always exciting). Thank you again!
