“Came highly recommended but was somewhat lack lustre”
Reviewed June 28, 2010

Food was okay but nothing to write home about. Quite bland and sauces very watery. Presentation definitely lacking. Atmosphere very dark and dismal. Wine served by the glass was a minimal serving. An ounce or two more would have been nice.

“Best Meal We Had on Our Vacation in Corning”
Reviewed October 21, 2009

We were searching for a macrobiotic restaurant in Corning. We liked the menu at Three Birds and thought they might be accommodating to a vegan-type meal. With prior arrangements, chef Jason prepared a fabulous meal without dairy. We eat fish on occasion, and his fish entree was so flavorful with non-diary ingredients.

If you are looking for a dairy-free meal, we would recommend Three Birds. Jason prepared rice ahead of time without butter and prepared sea bass that was served in a bowl with an extremely light vegetable broth that was seasoned to perfection. The waitress was extremely friendly, and upon arrival (with reservations) she informed us that chef Jason was aware of our arrival and ready to prepare our meal. The meal was priced well and definitely a good value.

Went to Threebirds was very disapointed. The service was awfull. i had a chance to preview the menu before we went, and was looking forward to the pork tenderloin. It came out ice cold, sent it back came out cold again. my husband ordered the rack of lamb and ended up sick the next morning, wich was the last day of are vacation. Would not recomend this resturant to anyone.

“Good food/slow service”

Had lunch on a weekday. The food was fabulous, but there was only one server for the dining room. I would go again.

“Tip Top”
Reviewed July 30, 2009

Excellent restaurant ran by professionals who known their business. Great upscale bar atmosphere for that pre dinner cocktail or beer on a hot day. However the food is what really makes this place, combining classical French training - eveidenced by the home made veal stock sauces - combined with fine produce, and wonderful service. I really hardly ever think of eating anywhere else. I have my special table which is always beautifully prepared for me and my vegan wife. The staff/chef's go out of their way to make sure my wife has a good meal prepared in the way she likes it, never been dissapointed, never heard a bad word spoken about anyones experience there. We are so lucky to have such a place. Thanks and good luck.
