Sherrie and Marc are great hosts. Marc found routes for our bicycle group that fit everyone 's ability. The club house was a great place to keep our gear with tools available if needed. The inn is within easy walking into town ànd the lake.

Hi BC,

Thanks so much for picking The Inn at Cooperstown for your bicycle group getaway. As avid bicyclists we always enjoy hosting a group who enjoys the sport as much as we do! We're very happy to hear that the routes we put together for the group worked well for the varied levels of ability. Thanks also for the compliments on the bicycle clubhouse. We certainly hope some or all of you will return so we can ride with you again!

Sincerely,
Sherrie and Marc

This is the third time I have stayed at this lovely Inn. I am remiss in not writing a review the very first time. The Inn is beautifully restored and decorated. From the minute you walk in the door you feel at home. Greeted by friendly and helpful staff you know immediately it will be a pleasant stay. Checking in is simple and all the information you need about WiFi, breakfast, community rooms, and front door locking are explained and should you not be listening a brochure is provided with the information as well. A climb up a beautiful staircase brings you to the rooms. Each time I have been there I have stayed in a different room. The color palette is rich tones on the walls, the floor, and the furnishings. Huge old windows look out on the lovely front lawn and the quaint village that is Cooperstown. The rooms are air conditioned but you can easily turn that off and open the large old windows and let the fresh air in. The rooms are very quiet. I never heard another soul even though the Inn appeared to be fully booked. The owner and host, Marc, visits with guest at breakfast going from table to table in the two lovely dining rooms. The breakfast that is served is always yummy and the coffee is good! Fresh juice is brought to you by the kitchen staff and there are always fresh baked muffins as well. While it is business that brings me to Cooperstown most guests appear to be there for their love of baseball. The relaxed and friendly atmosphere allows one to easily meet other guests and meet folks from all over. I just love staying at the Innn at Cooperstown and look forward to my next trip back there. Thank you Marc and staff for a lovely stay.

Three blocks from main street, restaurants and MLB HOF. About 2 miles from Fenimore and Farm museums. Had reserved two bedroom suite thinking there was a sitting area. When owners discovered the confusion they immediately reduced the nightly charge. Our bedroom and bath were a bit small but quite cozy and comfortable otherwise. Parking was convenient and ample. The breakfasts were outstanding with fresh, hot, homemade country biscuits every morning. Owners were very cordial and friendly.

We were a family of 5 in town for a wedding and wanted to be in the center of town. The hotel is historic and in wonderful condition and very clean. The rooms are small but comfortable with modern bathrooms, big TV's and great AC that you can control yourself, but the windows open if you want fresh air... nice touch. The breakfast that is included is more than sufficient and served by very pleasant staff. The porch has great rocking chairs for relaxing and people watching. We needed, safety pins, and needle and thread to do some maintenance on wedding garments and the staff happily located them and provided them. The rooms are not cheap and there is a two night minimum in tourist season, but this made our family trip to a great wedding very wonderful and memorable. The hotel deserves all the accolades an accreditations that is has won!

Room Tip: Rooms on the front have a much prettier view.
