Maybe it's a generational thing, me being only 37 years old, but I've never really understood the whole Bed and Breakfast thing. This Inn is a gleaming example of why. Most Bed and Breakfasts seems to take the liberty of passing off lazy and dirty as 'quaint' and 'vintage'. Attention to detail means everything, especially when you are SUPPOSED to be accommodating travelers. Most things are relative, so for me to rant on room size, shower size, moldy smell permeating the entire building, etc, would waste too much space. I'll sum it up with one example of exactly what I mean. I went for a run the other morning and managed to bring back some mud/dirt with me despite my efforts to 'stomp' it all off. As a result, there ended up with one VERY NOTICEABLE spot of dirt in the hallway...that dirt remained for all three days I was there. These people don't care anymore and, if I could guess, are looking to sell. I would bet if you offered them cash, YOU could own the inn. In the meantime, if you ARE the owners, and you have given up, then get out!!! You're ruining what could be a tremendous spot!!
