“Great food, reasonable prices”
Reviewed June 28, 2014

Went here for dinner at recommendation of our B&B hosts. Downtown location on main street near Hall of Fame. Restaurant interior was nice but standard, but we sat outside in back and it was idyllic - surrounded by foliage and covered by umbrellas on a beautiful summer evening. Ask to sit out back! (But don't look outside the patio since you are right next to a parking lot - though there was no traffic or noise and we noticed only because we looked.)

Food was great - best meal of our week vacation (agreed to by all 4 adults in our group). Portions were very large - locals have an advantage here as they can take leftovers home).

“Very Nice Italian Restaurant”
Reviewed June 10, 2014

Solid Italian fare. We dined at Nicoletta’s our second night in Cooperstown on the recommendation of our innkeeper, Ed. It was definitely a very good meal. We started with the calamari appetizer, sautéed. I had the ricotta ravioli which came with eggplant cutlets. My husband ordered the tortellini, with sausage, red peppers spinach and melted buffalo mozzarella. A very nice combination. Our waitress was very personable and attentive to our needs. We both enjoyed our meal at Nicoletta’s. We visited Cooperstown the third week in May.

“The guy was right!”
Reviewed June 9, 2014

We were looking at the menu outside the restaurant and an elderly gentlemen told us it was the best restaurant in Cooperstown. The dishes we sampled were excellent and the service was perfect. We had some of the housemade Italian sausage as an appetizer, and it was delicious and flavorful. We also had a special, eggplant parm, which was also excellent, and came with a bonus of more sausage. My only beef is that when we ordered, if the server had told us the parm came with sausage, we probably would have chosen a different appetizer, just for some variety.

Both dishes were in an expertly done, fresh-tasting, chunky tomato sauce. We also had some lobster ravioli that were very tasty too. I would definitely return and try some more dishes.

“Italian at its best -”
Reviewed June 8, 2014

We dined at Nicoletta’s on our first night in Cooperstown. A great start on our baseball adventure. My wife and I both had the special salad of the day: field of greens with sliced fresh strawberries, candied walnuts, and feta cheese. It was wonderful. We also both had the Pan Fried Veal with marinara and buffalo mozzarella. Mine came with spaghetti and my wife went for the broccoli. The meals were great. The veal was perfect - nice and crispy, not soggy and overburdened with bread crumbs. The sauce was authentic Italian. Food was delivered promptly and the waitstaff was engaging and helpful. Highly recommend Nicoletta’s Italian Café.

“A very nice Italian restauant”
Reviewed June 5, 2014

This restaurant is well located on Main St. in Cooperstown. The atmosphere is good with nice decor and very good food and service. Specials offered included fried artichoke hearts and sea food pasta fra diavolo which were both very good.
