“You need to stop here!!!!”

As a family it is hard to find a nice restaurant that has something for all of us. Nicoletta's did. Great food we had the specials, Nice wine list, exceptional service, and prices were not expensive. This restaurant will be on our list to eat at every time we are in Cooperstown. A special thank you to Megan for being so accommodating. And come to find out Danny's market next door is the same owner. We had lunch there earlier in the day and that was delicious too.

“Good food. Good service.”
Reviewed February 6, 2013

Dead of winter, so it was pretty quiet. But even when a large party with kids came in the service was friendly and efficient. The food was good. The wine selections were good. The atmosphere was good, quiet even with the large family group.

Not as good as Alex and Ika's but this is definitely a good restaurant, one that would fit in well in Boston's North End. Less touristy and baseballey than some other places in town. If you want good italian food, and you are anywhere near Cooperstown, eat here.

“Nothing Special Here”
Reviewed January 30, 2013

I'm not a huge foodee, but I know what tastes good and what doesn't. Previously frozen filet mignon lacks flavor and juice and this is clearly what I got as my meal; along with the pasta drenched in butter, fat, and cheese, it was just an unclassy meal. My husbands meal was a bit better, but did give him stomach problems later in the evening. The food overall was average, nothing special and you could get better at any chain Italian restaurant. The ambiance was nice and pleasing to the eye (minus the hair on my tablecloth noticed upon sitting down). The waitress was fake friendly, which was amusing considering we were only one of three couples in the place. We felt like we were bothering her being there. Everyone has a bad night, but what I like to pay for is the quality of food. It was just average, and I don't think that I'd go back.

“Never change a thing...because it's PERFECT!”
Reviewed January 22, 2013

My husband travels for a living and dines at five star restaurants almost weekly. Nicoletta's is our 5 star dining experience when we travel to Cooperstown.
We eat here almost every year for our Anniversary! We come from Florida for cool weather golf, beer breweries and dinner at Nicoletta's; sometimes twice in four days usually in May.
The service is always GREAT...Megan is outstanding and very professional yet friendly enough because she remembers we our frequent guests! Friendly and professional; it goes a LONG way in our book.
For a small village Cooperstown does have a small list of pretty good places to go for dinners out but Nicoletta's would always be the first place to go if any one asks "what's good in town to eat"...
We stick to the same dishes usually...the Bisteca Gorgonzola is always nicely done, they don't over do it with tons of flavors, it's simple ingredients DONE RIGHT! One of our top dishes anywhere we go. The mussels are always great for starters. They have a nice wine list from tasty table Chianti's to Opus One.
The atmosphere is always warm, cozy with clean linens and great music at an enjoyable level where you can hear each other talk. Each time we go the other diners are always happy and we have never seen anyone unhappy with their dining experience.
We love NICOLETTA's!!! Can't wait to go this year...
