“dinner in Cooperstown”
Reviewed May 3, 2013

arrived in town a little late so options for dinner (about 8:30pm) were limited. we found this cafe open and the meals were enjoyable, several nice local brews on tap and a baseball themed comfortable room. service was solid, nothing noteworthy but good and appropriate.

“Decent little bar”
Reviewed May 1, 2013

The food is decent and the atmosphere is friendly and pleasant. They have a daily specials menu which is worth trying as the menu is typical.

“GOOD MEXICAN-WHO KNEW?”
Reviewed April 30, 2013

Good Mexican food in upstate New York, who knew? As someone who has lived in the home of AMAZING Mexican food, Southern California, I thought the enchiladas here were great.

“Best Breakfast”
Reviewed April 29, 2013

We've eaten breakfast and lunch here and the food is always great. The breakfasts are terrific and the service is quick and friendly. It can get a little noisy for lunch (and dinner I'm assuming).

“Hit the spot”
Reviewed April 26, 2013

My wife and I were in Cooperstown for a getaway weekend, spent some time getting to know the area and found the Doubleday Cafe about 3 blocks from the Baseball Hall of Fame. It was the perfect place for an early Saturday afternoon lunch. The food was excellent, prices were reasonable, drinks were generous and the service was great even though the restaurant was relatively crowded.
