My boyfriend and I recently stayed here for our quick trip to the Baseball Hall of Fame - definitely plan on returning. The room (#10) was just as pictured, very modern and very clean. The owners were welcoming and made us feel right at home. Our only complaint is that we didn't stay longer.

Thank you to our friends from the great city of Buffalo. We wish you had stayed longer too! There are so many great people that choose B&B's over hotels. That's certainly true of you and for the Landmark. We really want to spend time with all of them, the hear their stories (if Fred ever stops telling his, that is!). Go Bills! Come see us again, and stay a week next time.

This was a great find. The place was spotless, the rooms comfy and linens fresh, breakfast was perfect. So many nice touches here and there. The owner and all the staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming. It was the sort of place where you could really make yourself at home and never want to leave.

Room Tip: We had a small room, but there was a little patio off it where you could sit outside and relax.

Thank you Bill and trust your return to the Adirondacks was a safe one. Fred took me to the Sagamore on Lake George last week, just so someone could pamper me. It was lovely - very, very lovely - but I missed my Inn and my guests! So back I came (after my massage, of course! :) Come see us soon!

Impeccably restored Italianate mansion within walking distance of the center of Cooperstown. The living room and dining room are beautifully decorated and furnished. Staff is very professional, happy, friendly. The room and bathroom were well maintained and clean. Very quiet at night. Breakfast was excellent - fresh fruit with fresh mint, very good blueberry pancakes topped with fresh blueberries and strawberries, and bacon. They were happy to vary the meal to meet the needs and preferences of the guests. Coffee available in the dining room at 7. Have two porches with seating to enjoy the outdoors. Lovely grounds, trees, and plantings.

Thank you to our friends from Connecticut! We certainly enjoyed your visit. As the season turns to fall here in Cooperstown, many guests are enjoying our beautiful back yard among the falling leaves, just as you did. Come see us again!

We came to Cooperstown for the Hall of Fame. The Landmark Inn was a perfect match for us. The breakfast was excellent and all of the staff was very accommodating. Enjoyed meeting Robin and Fred. Hannah was an excellent innkeeper.

Room Tip: We stayed in 9A which is on the ground floor with a king-size bed. We did get rained on a bit sin...

We had a wonderful stay here. Hosts Robin and Fred just took it over in February 2013, but have it down pat. They are cordial, fun to visit with, and provide a very relaxed atmosphere. The room (#3) was nice and had a modern two-person shower which is very unusual for a B&B. Robin's breakfast was very good and plentiful. The inn is within a quarter-mile from the main street with the BB Hall of Fame and many nice shops and restaurants. We will make this our home on future stops to Cooperstown.

My husband and I recently set off on a road trip visiting several places, big cities, small towns and everything in between... of course, our first stop had to be Cooperstown to visit the Baseball Hall of Fame. I enjoy sports but truthfully this was not high on my list of places to go, nevertheless, of we went. I had checked out b and b's before leaving and liked all I read about Landmark Inn. we arrived on a sunny afternoon and were greeted by very friendly and helpful staff. I can't say enough good things about this b and b... The location, ( walkable to all the sites) the cleanliness ( second to none) I loved the idea of having our own entrance and porch to sit on and enjoy our morning tea. The food was also top shelf.... I could have easily stayed longer , but we had many other sites to visit. I would recommend this spot as one of the best .... like the tittle says ... Landmark Inn ... very well could and should be in the B ad B hall of Fame.... keep up the great job.... Theresa

Room Tip: Our room was at the back of the house , separate entrance..was great.

Wow, Theresa... the B&B Hall of Fame? Thanks so much, but it means much more to us to be in your hall of fame. It's how our guests feel and what they experience that matters most to us. Each week the Landmark team puts time aside to ask ourselves, "How can we create an even better guest experience?" Lots of suggestions already adopted but this winter will see a number of progressions at the Innthat we think will go to even greater lenghts to assure a memorable stay for our guests. We'll keep you posted on our FB site!

We enjoyed our stay at the Landmark Inn. The location and general accommodations served us well during the three nights we spent there recently.

It gets three stars instead of 4 or 5 (wish I could do 3.5) because I don't think the jets in the jacuzzi tub, which was nice otherwise, had been properly cleaned (maybe not for a while). We used them on our last night there, otherwise we would have asked for it to be cleaned. Once the jets were turned on, build up was injected into the water.

Also, the room had an adjoining suite that was occupied, and we could clearly hear our neighbors speaking, assume they could hear us. There was no issue with noise at night, but was different than what we're used to.

Otherwise, the room was nice and spacious. I really liked having a large bathroom, dresser, and closet. The shower is luxurious. The property and home is very lovely, and we felt comfortable there. And, again, the location was perfect. Just off the main street, fairly quiet during our stay, but easy walking access to everything in town.

Thank you for sharing that you enjoyed your 3 night stay at the landmark and that our rooms are spacious and showers luxurious. Thank you for also stating that the location is perfect and that the grounds and house are lovely, and also that you felt comfortable here. Guests will be happy to learn from you that there was no noise at night, as well.

As for the jacuzzi, quite candidly, I am not sure how that possibly could have happened. Our housekeeping regimen includes the following:

1) Cycling/bleaching of all jacuzzis at any sign of use
2) Weekly cycling/bleaching of all jacuzzis even if NO use.
3) AND if a guest inquires about a jacuzzi when they make their reservation - which you did - we prep the jacuzzi by cycling/bleaching the day of your arrival.

Our housekeeping records indicate that ALL THREE of these were done. Had you stated that there was an aroma of bleach when you operated the jacuzzi I would not have been surprised, but buildup is incomprehensible.

While the vast majority of our guests remark about how quiet The Landmark - an 1856 Mansion - is. We are always looking for ways to improve the guest experience and will be reviewing options for additional sound-proofing this winter.

Thank you for choosing the Landmark and for helping us get better.
