Overall this is a great place to stay within walking distance to Main Street in town. Our first room, the blue room, was on the second floor with steep and narrow stairs to that floor. Ed was kind enough to transfer us to a room on the first floor. Our second room was much nicer and larger. Do be aware the inn sits on a busy street if you are a light sleeper.
The inn is clean, well kept with gracious hosts. Patty was on hand with Ed to chat and be helpful in any way possible.
My only disappointment was the breakfast we were served the one morning we were there. The bacon was very undercooked. The pancakes were so so. The scrambled eggs weren't anything more than I cook at home. The small muffins were burnt on the bottom.
This isn't the kind of breakfast I've have at other B&B's. I am used to more creative meals that appear in cook books written by good chefs like Paul Deen or Martha Stewart. This wasn't the case here.
I would have given this inn a 5 star if it weren't for the breakfast. Maybe this review will encourage the chef to produce a 5 star breakfast.More
