the food here is always delicious and the portions are overflowing the plate. You always have enough to take home for the next day! The service is great and even if it seems crowded the turnover is quick and you have a seat asap.

The food is pretty good, especially the breakfast selections. The portions are also pretty big, most people take a doggy bag home. Give me a break, though! The prices at this place are RIDICULOUS! Should be $$, not $$$.

this place is in a great location, right off the LIE, which makes it busy all the time. Decent diner food, huge portions, nothing outrageously good but nothing terrible either.

On Saturday morning, 4 of us met at the Premiere because we come from various parts of LI, and as others have stated, this diner is conveniently located off the LIE. We all ordered breakfast, and were sitting discussing business for approximately 40 minutes after our plates were cleared. We asked the owner's wife if we could sit for a little bit after paying the check, to talk and we'd be happy to compensate the waitress with an additional tip - essentially paying her for our time at the table. She said fine - her husband, however, belligerently came to our table and promptly told us to "leave" - he further said "this was not the public library and we ladies should use common sense." Well - to my knowledge a diner was always noted for being a coffee/gathering place. Sir, while your diner is quite nice, it's not a 5 star gourmet restaurant. Diners are known to be a place to meet and have coffee - no? Not only did we plunk down $70 for breakfast, but we were more than willing to give our waitress an additional $20 on top of the tip. I believe he should have used his "common sense" - we were patrons of his establishment for dinner, and we all work for a LI magazine that reviews and rates LI restaurants. Ooops, I think you didn't exercise the proper common sense, here. And it was just plain mean to 4 very nice ladies who came to patronize your establishment. We didn't come and only order 1 cup of coffee. By the way, total time we spent there - from 10:20 a.m. to 12:10 p.m. - so, really???? We'll be crossing this place off the list - the food isn't all that good to take such abuse.

Nicely lit and furnished. Busy, harried but friendly staff. Solidly good food. Extensive menu. Clean as a whistle. A safe and good bet.
