On vacation with my fiancee , wonderful views lots of potential but spoiled by the poor service, horrid food and a dirty bathroom. On a positive note being very much in love kept my normally grumpy side at bay. Having experienced superb dinining in Manila and fantastic hotels in Tagaytay I know that good management and a good cook would make a difference!

We went here during holy week 2013. Room and bathroom is spacious and clean. all rooms have a balcony where you could see outside view. Highest is 3rd floor. No elevator, so need to take stairs. If you are with disabled people, make sure to book the room that's on the first floor so you dont need to climb the stairs anymore. Travel time is a bit long, once you reach subic, it will take another 30-45 minutes to get to the hotel. Restaurant service is so slow. Food portion is small. A bit pricey. Pool is a bit small too. Heard that there were jelly fishes lurking around the beach so weren't able to go swim at the beach. But overall, a great place, highly recommended!

I have never heard of Kamana Sanctuary until my company decided to have the recognition of the best employees here in February. When we got here, I was so amazed at the spectacular view of the sea and mountains. It simply took my breath away. The room the company got for us was the loft type. The beds were so comfortable. What I liked about the most was the view. It got a perfect view of the entire resort. It was definitely relaxing. The staff here especially the ones taking care of the infinity pool were friendly. There's no time limit to the pool's usage. We took a dip there at 4am. It was a bit shallow but I didn't mind. There were a few loose tiles. I hope they fix those.

The resort's pricey compared with the other hotels near the area like Camayan. To my knowledge, lofts cost about Php6-8K while the casitas cost around 12K. The restaurant does not offer a good view of the sea as it's just situated inside a building. Food was mediocre. One can't do much here except for kayaking and beach volleyball. The resort area's really small that you can have a tour of the entire resort for just 15minutes. Swimming in the sea was not really a pleasant experience because it was too rocky and the threat of jellyfish in the area didn't really help a lot. The area near the casitas had an awful smell. I think the resort's sewage tank's located there.

Will I go back here? If it's free, yes otherwise I'll select a resort that's worth my money.

Room Tip: Choose the loft type in the building near the casitas.

This hotel has amazing rooms and even nicer views. The hotel is probably a little pricey for what it is actually offering but it was the last place in the area available.

Having said that the hotel was dead during the week and only picked up towards the end of the week, which is perfect when you just want to bob in the infinity pool by yourself.

The rooms are beautiful...and that's the only good thing I can say. The "beach" is a rocky, polluted shore with a big drain pipe on one side ( sewage? effluent? who knows?). The photos on their website are taken at an angle where you can't see that a busy commercial port is nearby. They forbid you from bringing your own food and drink into the place, but their own food is terrible to say the least. If you bring in your own food, on checkout they will slap a stiff corkage fee.

My sister and sister-and-law went swimming and immediately regretted it as their skin started itching from the pollutants. You can see a disgusting gray moss on the rocks, the kind that grows only in dirty canals in the city. My guess is the pollutants are from the commercial port that is quite close by.
