While visiting Cold Spring from NYC we had the pleasure of having lunch at the Silver Spoon. The restaurant has a classy, fresh new look and a complete menu to choose from. The wings were great, the sandwiches we ate were fresh, large and very tasty. While dinning we were greeted by the friendly owner Jimmy. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and drink specials and we would recommend this place to dine.

Four of us ate at the Silver Spoon last night. The owner told me he closed the restaurant for two weeks to completely overhaul it and it shows. The interior is beautiful, spacious and the new bar is lovely. The owner is genuinely friendly and gracious, and the staff are all attentive, smiling and working together. We had the fish and chips, and the fish portion was large and well prepared. My hub is a Brit, and his mate is Irish and they deemed the fish "great". The chips were yummy and not at all greasy. We wanted more!!! We also had a cajun chicken wrap and a chili quesadilla, both excellent. Service was prompt and cheerful. We've always liked going to the Silver Spoon, and now we love it. It has a relaxed, happy vibe in a super setting with awesome food and people. What else could you ask for? Oh, I know. Ask for the Grand Marnier chocolate molten lava cake with whipped cream and hang the diet!!!! You'll be SO glad you did!!!

We ate here the day after this restaurant reopened following a complete renovation. They're still putting in the finishing touches but should soon be all set. The food was very good, however we were told that they'll be offering an entirely new menu in a couple of weeks. If our experience is any indication, it will be worth trying out the new fare. Service was friendly and prompt, and the price was fair. Besides, a Yelp coupon kicked in nicely. This place is fresh, clean, and unpretentious.

There is a small outside seating area right on Main Street, and they allow you to bring your dog. The French Toast and Eggs Benedict are excellent, as is the mixed fresh fruit cup. It's fun to watch people walking on the sidewalks on both sides of the street. It feels very much like a streetside café in Paris.

My daughter brought us there for breakfast. They have quite a few different choices. I had something with a French name. It was bread dip in egg, with Swiss cheese, ham and Dijon muster. It was great. They gave us a sample of something my wife called monkey bread, but it was better then the version she make with biscuits.

I will go again
