“VERY FRESH FOOD!!”
Reviewed March 4, 2014

This place is small and quaint. The food is fresh and seasonal. This is run by the culinary school at the college. They do a great job. Haven't been to their special nights where they serve food with wine pairings. Will love to try that though in the near future.

“A Little Gem”
Reviewed February 21, 2014

Coby's is a restaurant that is affiliated with the college (State University at Cobleskill) culinary program. The food is fantastic and the prices can't be beat. Even though it has limited operating hours (Dinner is served Thursday & Friday nights), it is open for breakfast and lunch during the week it is well worth going. Coby's also offers live entertainment. My husband and I moved to the area from outside NYC and have been searching for a restaurant that is interested in serving quality food. The portions are very sufficient and the food is comparable to restaurants in Bergen County, NJ or Rockland County, NY. For dinner there is usually a choice of four or five entrees. They do serve appetizers and deserts and also offer soda, beer, and wine. Remember this is part of the culinary department at the college and everyone benefits - the students with getting experience and the paying public with a delicious meal.

“?”
Reviewed October 25, 2013

We walked in yesterday and found it to be very "phlatt"! No one greeted us and the overwhelming
twang music was not conducive to relaxed conversation. We ordered hot chocolate and the server
had to confer with management in the back room for the order. The person in the back didn't show any interest in new clientele and the hot chocolate "hot water and powder mix" was barely palatable. Truly a disappointment. Once bitten ....!

“Fine dining”
Reviewed October 20, 2013

We really enjoyed our meal at the restaurant. The restaurant is operated by the local college as part of Culinary Arts program. The Chef in charge came around to the tables and explained the program.
