Recently attended a weekend of concerts at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center and found this Holiday Inn Express the perfect place to stay. It is only about 12 or so miles south of Saratoga so it was a short, easy drive to the venue both nights, while being much cheaper than the hotels and B&B's in downtown Saratoga. It is also a short, pleasant drive away from the Saratoga Battlefield National Park where we spent a few hours before heading to the concert one of the days.
The staff was very friendly (always asked if I needed anything while passing in the hallway, and took care of the toilet my buddy clogged up extremely quick) and the continental breakfast was one of the best in recent memory. They also have hot coffee available 24 hours a day which is a nice touch.
There is also a nice restaurant/bar that shares the parking lot so it was nice being able to walk over there for lunch (and last call is 2 AM in NY so it is also a great place for a night cap).
All in all it was a very pleasant stay, and I plan to stay there again if I am ever back in the area.More
