I'm originally from the area and stayed here with my family for a wedding. The front entrance was beautifully decorated with fall flowers, hay bales and pumpkins. The staff we encountered were so friendly and welcoming, and the whole place was super clean. The bed was crazy comfortable too. Breakfast was a huge assortment of hot and cold choices so even the pickiest eater in our group found something they liked. We asked for adjoining rooms so we could continue the celebration after the wedding with other relatives and they cheerfully accommodated our request. The location is great, too - right off the Northway (I-87) and across the street from the mall with lots of restaurants nearby. It was our first stay at this hotel and we will be back again in the future.

this is a typical Hampton Inn, that is to say the rooms are clean and comfortable. The only complaint is the TV, seems the volume is set very loud for the hotel channels but quiet for regular TV channels, meaning the volume must be turned up to hear a show you are watching but the next person to turn on the TV it will be very loud because it always starts with the hotel channels. Crazy.

We have stayed here several times and have been very pleased overall.

The public areas are well-kept and the lobby sitting area is pleasantly decorated. The front entrance of the hotel has beautiful plants and flowers which make for a pleasant view as you pull into the parking lot (In warm weather anyway). The hotel is located on a quieter side street away from the noise of Rt. 9, I-87, and 146 though all are easy to access. Lots of restaurants in the local area also. Lots of free parking though on weekends it tends to get rather crowded in the lot as the hotel fills up quickly.

The rooms are spacious and clean. The bathrooms are spotless.

The breakfast is fix-your-own but it's free so who cares. There are several varieties of juice and cereals along with the usual coffee flavors. You can also make your own waffles or have toast if you wish. Overall, you will find something to munch on.

The staff is very friendly and helpful from the check-in desk to the cleaning personnel.

The room rates are good though you should take advantage of any special discounts you may have available to you such as AAA, AARP, etc. as without the special rates, the rooms can be a bit on the pricier side, though less pricey than other comparable hotels in the area.

Bottom line: this is where we stay when in Clifton Park. We know all will be well when we are there, and if there are any issues, we also know that the issues will be addressed immediately.

Room Tip: Top floor is always good; No worries about any noise overhead.

We have family in the area so often stay at this hotel. The staff is always great -- friendly, efficient and accommodating. Even the housekeeping staff is pleasant and friendly! Rooms are always extremely clean, as are the public areas, pool and gym. Hampton Inns are not known for luxury, but the beds are extremely comfortable, it's quiet, and I always get a good night's sleep.

Room Tip: I last stayed on the 4th floor and it was very quiet.

I loved this hotel! It was spacious, lovely, clean, and accomodating. The decor was fantastic. It was quiet and the beds were very comfortable. The eating area is superb as far as Hamptons go...lots of space, enough tables, and a good hostess. Newspapers were delivered to the room. The room had a microwave and refrigerator, which is not always the case at Hamptons. The Outback Steakhouse was a perfect neighbor to have, so between omelettes for breakfast and steak for dinner...life is good! The hotel is located in the middle of a commercial area, so don't expect beautiful views, but if you are in need of purchasing something, this hotel is convenient. It was not overly expensive either, so I can't think of a reason why I wouldn't go there again when in the area.

The hotel is very clean, beautifully renovated with professional staff. Double rooms are big enough to fit in a roll-away bed. It was 3 adults and two teenage kids in our party who comfortably spent one night in the quiet top floor room of the hotel. We traveled during the high summer season and hotel was almost completely booked. Despite that they honored our request for top floor room and provided us with extra towels and pillows when we checked in at 1AM. Breakfast buffet is well staffed. Although it was quite crowded in the morning, the staff was very efficient and responsive. Tables were cleaned immediately after people were done. We would definitely stay here again.
