Stayed here in June. Nice newer hotel, with top notch staff at the desk. I was surprised to see it was attached to a mall complex. Thought that was a good idea until I came back in the evening and tried to find a place to park. They don't really have "hotel" parking, so all the shopping parking prevents you from finding a spot. It's really a bad design. Other than that a good stay. Great conference facilities!

I stayed here for a week in June for work. The lobby was very modern for a HGI, with a busy restaurant and bar attached. I was surprised they gave me a room overlooking the roof of the mall. But I was in a hurry to get to work so I didn't say anything about it. The room was comfortable and clean. The internet was good except when streaming. The breakfast was typical HGI fare, but they had cans of pineapple juice that I love. I usually go to breakfast a bit later, and there were very few diners there with me. So it was quiet, which I love, but the servers were loud, just loud outside voices. The really wanted to be of service, but I really just wanted to eat and read my book. Almost gave me a headache. But still it was nicer than most HGI restaurants.

The bar was nice. I don't typically visit the bar in a hotel but they had some great offers, like $10 for a hamburger and a beer and a coupon for $5 off $20 I think. The bartenders were great, the food was good, the beer was cold with some local selections. When an appetizer I ordered came out cold they took it away, remade it and bought me a beer. People seemed to really enjoy the steakhouse.

I liked this hotel and would stay here again. My only complaint would be the parking. I don't think they can fix it as it was poorly planned. Being next to the theater at the mall is a problem, especially if you arrive after 7 PM. They did post some signs and info about alternate entrances. It's not a huge deal, and would not keep me from staying here again.

Room Tip: Ask for a room that doesn't overlook the mall roof.

We were welcomed so warmly by Olivia and Phelan that I knew this was a well managed place. It is a new property conveniently located in a shopping center and seems to be a busy place for meetings and business travelers.
Deborah at breakfast couldn't have been more helpful and the food was fresh and well prepared.
A great stay!

In the area for a family function and this hotel was great, especially when hearing from other relatives at nearby hotels. This one opened in Dec 2011, so is less than 6 months old. Convenient location, with a gym and indoor pool in the lobby, as well as a Hannaford's (supermarket) and Starbucks across the street. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

We stayed here a few weeks ago during a family reunion and I highly recommend this hotel. It's very convenient to the highway so easy on and off and in a shopping/movie theater area so perfect for when your family/friends visit has ended. Staff were excellent, polite very helpful. This is a rarity in many hotels so it was nice to see it in the Hilton Garden Inn.

We were given room 501, which is a corner room on a high floor. This is the room to ask for because it's quiet and at the end of a hallway so little to no traffic. We will be staying here again on our next visit and have recommended this hotel to other family members for future visits.

Thank you Hilton Garden Inn!

Spent just one night here with spouse on driving trip through area.

Location very convenient. Starbucks across the street if you need it. Lots of off-site restaurant options, too.

Welcomed upon arrival and checked in without difficulty. Given a card to show at local mall merchants and restaurants for discounts (including Chipotle). Given two bottles of water and breakfast coupons for being Diamond.

Room was king on fifth floor (top) away from elevator. Nice with desk, chair, comfy chair and ottoman. Plentyof light. Bathroom was spacious and well-lit as well.

Beds and linens comfy. Didn't mess with the setting and slept great. Plenty of pillows. Fluffy towels. Surprising 4-cup coffee maker in roo. When many places are going to single serve machines. Microwave and fridge, too. Would be nice for extended stay.

Health club new, clean and modern. Pool area open Fil 10pm and also new and clean. Plenty of towels.

Breakfast was varied and fresh. About $12 without coupon for all you want from hot/cold buffet: eggs, waffles. French toast, pancakes, oatmeal, cereal, granola, fresh fruit, yogurt, coffee/tea/juice, pastries, bagels, bagels, etc. Enjoyed our meal.

Business center near front desk with two computers, printer, and office supplies. Coffee/tea available 24 hrs just outside.

Didn't even get to the mall, but parking can be an issue depending on when you arrive at hotel. You might need to park a ways away as the HGI doesn't have a dedicated lot.

We would happily return!

I recently spent a night at the Hilton Garden Inn Clifton Park while traveling on a business trip.

Pros:
-Great location. Connected directly to a small mall with a food court and movie theater. Within walking distance of several restaurants.
-Nice amenities. Pool, hot tub, fitness room and business center were all clean and functional.
-Free wi-fi was provided.
-The room was nicely furnished and spacious.

Cons:
-The bed was awful. It felt like a rock. I followed the instructions to adjust the firmness of the bed and ended up with a slightly softer rock. This was disappointing given the quality of the beds at other Hilton properties I have visited.
-The bathroom reeked of ammonia-based cleaning products for the duration of the stay. Way beyond "fresh and clean." Spending more than a few minutes in the bathroom was slightly nauseating. Other members of my party did not report similar smells in their bathrooms. Possibly the result of a particularly messy prior occupant.
