“Love The Owner and Her Staff”

Greatest little all purpose food stop in the North Country. Can't be the pnly one who feels that way, judging by the lines we constantly encounter almost every morning during the summer season. Great food, reasonable pricing and great service-how can you beat it.

“Good Breakfast”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 19, 2012

My husband and I were recommended this place by the motel owners where we stayed in Alexandria Bay. We arrived at 9:30a and there was hardly a place to sit. The waitress was very friendly and the food was very good. We will be sure to visit if in the area again.

“100's of locals can't be wrong....”

This is a superb breakfast place, bar none. Highly recommended by the locals, their presence at breakfast attests their support. Everything from scratch and more than you can reasonably eat. Come hungry.

“Diner fare with captive audience”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 28, 2012

Outdoor seating, but no outdoor service, how strange. The food was pleasant, but the portions were small to average at best and the prices were average to above average. Unlike most diner-type restaurants you cannot get breakfast all day. They did offer homemade breads and pies, but the portions were small for the price and the quality not something you would long remember. The service was friendly once you realized you MUST go inside for service.

“great breakfast”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 26, 2012

There may be a wait but it is worth it. The home
made breads are wonderful and so are the pies.
Also, the towns shop are there. River rat cheese
is worth visiting for a great variety of cheeses.
