This is a very interesting collection of boats which were specifically used on the St Lawrence over the past 150 years. Some of the boats are inside and others are in the water. You could spent more than a day there to see the entire collection. I was especially interested in the St. Lawrence Skiff, which was designed by my great-great-grandfather, and to learn of the lifestyle of his generation.

has some really neat boats of ALL kinds. Absolutely beautiful boats. And when there in summer can ever cruise the St Lawrence River in one of those antique wooden boats.

With over one hundred antique boats on display, this is one of the largest antique boat museums in the country. With it's gold trimmed ceilings and woodwork, the 110 year old houseboat that once belonged to George Bolt is the highlight of the museum. From motorized launches to small manual powered craft to gold cup race boats dating back to the early 1900's there's something here for just about all boat lovers. For a small additional fee, you can take a 45 minutes ride in a wooden speedboat.

Even if you are not into boats, you have to appreciate the craftsmanship in these antique masterpieces. Especially when groups are afloat in the bay. Breathtaking!
