Deer Crossing was always our go- to breakfast place on our annual trip to Loon Lake. Food was always decent and the waitresses friendly. I have no idea what happened, but our breakfast last week was the last one. There were 3 of us- 3 different breakfasts and all bad. Waitresses still nice but not enough to make up for a waste of time and money. Too bad

This is a typical small town restaurant decorated with deer heads. We waited over an hour for our food once we sat down at the bar ( and thatvwasbafter getting lost for an hour!) we were starving and the wait didn't help. The women servingnwerenexceptionally friendly but it didn't make up for the slow service. It was Sunday and the restaurant was full. The food was fine but nothing special. Portion size was normal and not super sized like so many restaurants in the US. I had an egg white omelet and my friend had Eggs Benedict ( the special). We shared the thick French toas which was good;however, they forgot to serve us the syrup. We will not be going back there.

Good for breakfast. Pancakes and eggs are usually good. Service can be on the slow side. Dinners are just basic diner food

Definitely a must is Polish Mondays! Try authentic Polish meals. Only my gramma made these dishes better. Also, carrot cake is delish. Best tasting coffee in the area...And I am fussy!

Stopped for lunch one day with two of my friends. The service was slow and our lunch was edible but not great. We won't be going back.
