We stayed at the Sleep Inn Buffalo Airport for two nights on June 20-21, 2008. We checked in around 7:00 p.m. and it was fast. The girl at the desk was very friendly and helpful.

The room had two double beds and was clean. There was a shower only (which we knew about when we booked the room) and the washroom/shower was separate from the sink/mirror area.

The breakfast buffet was good. You can make your own waffles, but unfortunately, there is only one waffle maker and it takes about two minutes to make one. There were three different sauces - strawberry, blueberry and raspberry and whipped cream for the waffles. There was a line up most times for this. They have a variety of different breads, bagels, and french toast for toasting, along with danishes, four different kinds of cereals, hard boiled eggs, fruit salad, coffee and a variety of tea. It was actually a half decent breakfast for the rate that we paid for the room.

As it was across from the airport, we could hear the planes beginning around 6:00 a.m., but the sound was never bothersome. We didn't hear them at night.

We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Reception disinterested and cool.
Noisy people running up and down hallway. When advised reception next morning, was advised I should have called reception. So .... if there is noise in the hallway at night call reception and get the problem solved!
Liked the included breakfast - lots of choices.
Price was reasonable.
Pickup on return slow, but it was raining and there was a thunderstorm.

We stayed at the Sleep Inn for its Park and Fly option on April 8. Early flight out at 6:30 am

Hotel: Clean and well-kept. Parking was plentiful and checking in and out was a breeze with friendly staff. They were very busy but took time to answer all questions. Good front desk staff at check in and very efficient.

Room: We had a room with 1 king bed which had an in-room coffee maker and ironing board. The bathroom is very small with only a shower (no bathtub). The sink is outside the bathroom but it is still ok as if someone is using the bathroom, the others can use the sink. The pillows were soft and the bed was quite good.

Park and Fly: You drive your vehicle into to airport parking lot following the shuttle driver. I felt very safe leaving my vehicle here for the week. Shuttle for pick up was fast and timely for take off and return flights.

Breakfast: The breakfast area is very nice. Breakfast runs from 4:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. everyday and was very good. There were different kinds of bagels, danish, french toast, bread, fruits, cereals, hard-boiled eggs, juices, coffee, etc. The best thing is the "make your own waffle" station.

Location: It is next to the Buffalo Airport but you can not hear the planes arriving or departing. Walden Galleria 10 minutes away. Great shopping and restaurants close by.

All in all, it was a very nice stay for Canadians doing the park and fly thing.

The airport area is usually a convenient location for jaunts throughout Buffalo and Western NY. Gave this hotel a try on this trip because they had a jacuzzi suite... not bad, as long as you stay in your room! Good-sized suite with a decent bed and pillows. Very nice jacuzzi. The shower was problematic -- the shower head is on the back wall across from the door, so you have to get IN before you turn the water on! The parking lot had a dumpster smell... but you don't come to this area for the ambience. The breakfast bar was a bit of a mess -- very disorganized and not well-maintained by the mainly teenage staff (why does it seem like every hotel and most restaurants in this area are staffed by teenagers?). The Olympic across Genessee Street is a much better call for breakfast!

We had a 6.30am flight out of Buffalo so needed somewhere close. We were fortunate enough to arrive just as they were serving fresh cookies and were lucky as they didn't last long. Check-in was smooth, many groups the night we were there. No restaurant so we ordered take-out to be delivered. Also used the free internet on the 2nd floor which was very handy. Our room was large enough and clean. Breakfast was served from a very early hour (technically not till 4am but staff told us that it actually goes out much earlier) which is great as this allows time to grab a bit before taking the shuttle. We we surprised byt the quality of breakfast and variety of foods but were called to the shutttle so didn't really have time to enjoy it. Overall an enjoyable stay and we would stay here again if we ever go back to the USA.
