“Decent Stay but expected more”
Reviewed February 15, 2014

I'd like to start by saying that the stay was not horrible but just did not live up to its standards. We had a courtyard room overlooking the pool.
The few Pros: Friendly Staff, Free WiFi, Heated pool.
Cons: Cold Lobby in Buffalo with no coffee. (I would've expected some coffee and even a fireplace in a Buffalo lobby in February, 15 degrees outside) Bed was comfortable but the linens reminded me of hospital linens. Tub in the room had dirty, mismatched tiles that was repaired with grout that doesn't even match the original so it looks even dirtier. Housekeeping appeared to simply change requested towels and make the bed, left empty foam coffee cups on the night stand. (I know that makes me sound lazy and doesn't bother me that they left the mess I left, but if it is there even if by my laziness, i expect it to be cleaned up. The rest of the room was decent, can tell the it was updated a little but they only bothered to update some things. lastly they offer park and ride for the airport so there are cars that are parked long term and there is snow around them but the entire parking lot was covered with packed snow even in the main driving lanes and at no point during our 2 night stay did anyone bother to try and clean that up (it hasn't snowed in at least a week.)

Pros: located near the airport, has a shuttle, and fly-drive packages. Walk-in rate reasonable- 79.00 on a Friday night. WiFi is free and works well. Very nice front desk.

Cons: room was very cold but so was outside. The pool area is huge and beautiful but unfortunately it is loud with kids running around. The worst part is that walking through late at night there are paper plates with chicken bones and other food on them. It was really gross to see. I used the Sauna in the gym area and the gym area was unbelievably dirty. The bar..don't bother. There were 4 people at the bar at 11:30pm on a Friday night. No bartenders in site. After 15 minutes two showed up....must have been on a smoke break or just hanging out in the back. Not good service at all.

Nothing wrong with the rooms...a bit outdated but I think it was because i was in the old wing. To get to the room you had to walk by tables, bar stands, etc. so it felt like you were walking in the back-of-the-house. It is assumed a banquet would be happening the next day. they should keep these hidden though until it happens.

So, it is good for a one-night convenient stop. Definitely not a destination hotel

Room Tip: If you are a smoker ask for the bottom floor rooms that open up separately to the outside...you will...

My husband and I just returned from an overnight at Millennium Airport Hotel Buffalo. We were in Buffalo for rest, relaxation and shopping. We booked this hotel strictly for the room rate of $79US which included outdoor parking and a $10US food credit; offered to Canadians at par to compensate for our poor dollar. We found nothing that would encourage us to return. Our king room (Room 309) was in need of an update, i.e. saggy mattress, stains on carpet, chipped furniture and a leaky showerhead that sprayed water on the ceiling above the shower (strange). We had a room that adjoined another by way of a bolted interior door. We heard every word said by the occupants of the adjoining room. We had placed a "Do Not Disturb" sign on our door before retiring only to be awoken by a 8:30 am knock on the door from a staff member announcing that she was there to clean the room. When I checked, the Do Not Disturb sign was still in place. We also heard every knock and call she made up and down the hall. On our way out of the hotel, we were reprimanded by another employee of the hotel claiming that we were walking through an area cordoned off for an event. When my husband explained that we were unaware of the event and stipulation, she bellowed that we should have read the sign. What sign? We had planned to use the $10US food credit given to us with our room rate, to have breakfast in one of their restaurants. After the reprimand, we were sufficiently peeved and decided to dine elsewhere. We will not stay at this hotel again, regardless of the rate.

Only good thing about this hotel is location. Staff was not very knowledgeable or helpful.....definitely in need of updates, food is by far over priced for the quality that was served.
Apparently I had an updated room and I must say it was not what I would expect for an updated room, first word that comes to my mind when I opened the room door was it looked dirty. good luck finding a parking spot and then I walked the entire hotel to get to my room as per the direction given to me from the girl at the front desk. NOT IMPRESSED!!

Room Tip: From what I saw there are no good rooms, choose a different hotel

Average hotel. Needs updating. Bar staff very friendly. Ok for a park stay fly hotel. Check in was no problem. You have to leave your car keys with the front desk if you are flying somewhere. This was a bit uncomfortable.

Well it's no hampton inn but it's
1/3 of the price. Outdated but ok for our purpose of catching a few hours sleep before our flight. Not as bad as some reviewers make it out to be. Check in was easy, staff friendly close to border closer to airport
