This is a wonderful place to visit with children of any age. The trails are easy to walk and there are plenty of places to stop and sit. You can also see several species of bird, deer and small mammals. The trails are not really long, however one trail connects to another, so it can get confusing. The names of the trails are well labeled, but I found that they did not have maps, so I was not sure which trail to take to get back to my car. It did not take too long to walk to a trail that ended at the parking area.

A great place to go to encounter nature! Always tons of paths to walk and usually deer are out and about. Very clean and playgrounds are great for kids!

“Great Place For A Walk”
Reviewed May 13, 2014

Ok, most of the locals know this park, but if you happen to be from out of town and are here on a nice day, you should take a trip to this park. There are miles of trails and boardwalks though the woods. There is a major creek, Cayuga Creek, that runs along some of the trails. The paths are well maintained by the Cheektowaga Conservation Crew. There are shelters available for rent and sports fields, including baseball, football, tennis, rollerhockey, basketball and even bocce ball. The best part of this park is the wild life. There are deer everywhere. Also turkey, beavers and all sorts of birds. The birds will eat right out of your hand if you are still enough. If you have time to kill, head down to Losson Park and enjoy nature at it's best.
