We were given this restaurant as a recommendation from our Courtyard Marriott hotel and wanted to try a locally-owned business. The restaurant is intimate and smells great as soon as you walk in. We ordered sushi and Udon soup plus the spicy crab salad and kid's bear dessert. All the food was fresh and delicious. Our server was friendly and helpful with the menu and recommendations. We would eat there again if we were in the area.

The Sushimi was excellent and the rolls were fantastic. Imaginative, tasty and excellent looking. One of the best sushi meals we've had on the East coast. Well done Sakura Sushi.

Sushi was delicious and there was a wide variety of rolls. I think everyone will find something they like. The service was kind of slow but the waiter was very friendly and we were not in any hurry so it didn't bother me. The one thing I did not like was the Calamari. It tasted like it was microwaved. The batter was dry with a weird flaky texture and the rings were rubbery as all get-out. Avoid those. But everything else we had was great (Spicy Tuna Roll, Jumbo Spider Roll, Super Dragon Roll, Batman Roll, a couple other rolls I can't remember - most of them spicy and 5 pieces of Unagi).

A quiet atmosphere, ideal for sushi! We always take visiting friends and family here, Sakura was one of the first sushi restaurants in the area.

Stuck in Buffalo for a night, we wanted a delicious dinner and we found it at Sakura. Nice, mellow ambiance with instrumental soft rock covers of awesome 80s songs perfectly complimented our dining experience. Big flavorful rolls came out super fast and Nancy, our waitress was very attentive offering recommendations and keeping our tea full. We enjoyed the flaming tuna starter and our favorite roll was the Bounty roll. Great experience overall!
