“They Used to be Better”
Reviewed May 14, 2013

Not sure what happened here. There used to be a lot more about "The Show" of it. Third straight time that the show was mediocre. The food is still pretty solid, but for the expenditure, you want to REALLY get the experience. It just doesn't happen here anymore.

“Great tasting food but service has seriously gone down hill.”
Reviewed April 29, 2013 via mobile

Went to Gasho on Sat evening 5/27.
Have been here many times over the past 20+ years. Over a course of years there have been many changes. For many years the staff has not been Japanese. The service has been so so, leaning toward poor. This past visit was an extremely poor night for service & the tables were not even close to being full. However, the food was amazing as far as taste go's. I have gone here many times for lunch, they have a 2 for 22. Hibachi lunch special. The atmosphere lacks the authentic Japanese experience you get at Mt Fuji.

“Didn't even eat”
Reviewed March 9, 2013

7:30 reservations at 8:50 after several check ins at the host stand we finally decided that we didn't even want to give them out money. They were non apologetic. All they kept saying was' oh clean table now few minutes' DONTGO
Also as we waited in the lounge we notice dirty glasses piled up dirty carpets....( the list goes on)
There is a saying it tale 8 generations to build a business and one to kill it ..... This generation will kill it

“Great lunch specials !! I can't believe this place isn't packed!”
Reviewed January 22, 2013 via mobile

Awesome lunch special! Filet mignon, chicken fried rice veggies mushrooms soup salad and sherbet or icecream $23.00 for 2!!!! Amazing deal. The food was very good and fresh! Our waitress was so sweet and I think the only Japanese person here. There is a small kinda smell in the place I'm not sure what it is. Kinda musty smell. But everything seems clean! The outside is beautiful is he spring summer fall! Come here and try it!

“Used to be authentic; it's now losing its charm”
Reviewed January 1, 2013

We used to make this a regular stop, but now the service is less than it was and the table cooks are not as fun as they used to be. Food is still pretty good. Drinks are somewhat expensive.
