These outlets are HUGE. Many big name brands that you don't see in the usual outlet center such as Valentino, Versace, Gucci, Dooney & Bourke. However, they weren't necessarily "outlets". A lot of the big name stores were still big prices, $500 for shoes, $700 purses etc... The usual stores Nautica, Polo, North Face, Juicy, Coach had good deals 40-60% ontop of their low prices already. We shopped on a Monday and it was still extremely busy and crowded with people rolling luggage around hitting into you. Overall it was a nice place, but I wouldn't plan a specific trip there.

Woodbure Common, like the other outlets, are full of stores that offers a very atractive prices and a lot of good sale offers. But don´t forget its located outside and the cold wheater could be a handicap!

The Woodbury Common Premium Outlets are about an hour car/bus ride from Manhattan - you can get bus/coach tickets at the Port Authority (and they run approx 40 bucks round trip). The outlet itself is large, and has a wide variety of stores. However, depending on when you go you can either find great deals or extremely underwhelming deals for an outlet. I went in December so the shops were in their full on Christmas sales mode. The outlet also has some high end designer shops (including Chloe, Balenciaga, YSL, Dior, Prada, etc) that you would not be able to find at other outlets. However, don't expect to find things super discounted at these stores.
Also, depending on when you go there will be crowds and there may be lines to get into the stores. I would avoid going during any big sale days, like Black Friday, if you don't like crowds and want to avoid lines.

I think this outlet is very good and has a great selection of stores, and depending on the time of year you can find some really good deals.

I read reviews and decided let s go - what a disaster - all the same prices like in Ross or Marshals stores " brands " like they call them all made in China nothing is authentic and people like crazy go and dig there - Pravda and escada stores were ok stuff but $$$$$ like I never saw before - so DO NOT waist your time coming there it's all promotion and nothing special

I went here in July with my best friend. Before we got the bus there (Port Authority bus station), we were promised we would get a coupon book. We didn't and we couldn't find anywhere to pick one up but this was the least of our worries really.

If you like very expensive designer goods then chances are you will pick up a bargain or two here. I personally didn't think it was THAT discounted.

However the Ralph Lauren outlet was absolutely amazing, I picked up tshirts for around £10 each! Bare minerals and Yankee candles were also much cheaper.

Its a long way to go for just a couple of stores - I will probably just stick to Century 21 next time.

Thank sugar s
