“Surprisingly good for an Italian joint in the middle of nowhere”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 14, 2012

Wow, surprisingly good!

I was not expecting great things from this generic looking Italian joint, especially because it sits just a few moments from Woodbury Commons outlets. Can you get good food in the middle of nowhere, near an outlet complex? The simple answer is: yes!

I wasn't starving so I got 2 apps, a Mozzarella Caprese plate with roasted peppers and a Portobello mushroom stuffed with sauteed broccoli rabe and covered in a Parmesan cream sauce. I loved every bite of my lunch. Everything was super fresh, well cooked, and perfectly seasoned. The mushroom dish in particular was amazing, with the buttery rabe and creamy sharp cheese perfectly livening up the beefy slice of simply prepared mushroom. I also thought the mozzarella was surprisingly good quality. It was creamy, delicate and delicious.

I also wanted to add that the staff was tremendous here. Extremely pleasant, very quick, and eager to please. The trifecta of good service.

Price wise it was a bit steep for the sticks; lunch for 2 was $50. But hey, I'll pay good money for a good meal anytime. Recommended!

“Family-friendly meals at reasonable price”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 1, 2012

Had supper here with the kids after it was recommended to us by the staff at the local Best Buy. Kids menu was generous, and they were kept busy with crayons and coloring on the placemats until our meal came.

My only surprise was that the garden salad contained only leafy lettuces and a little bit of onion, no cucumbers, tomatoes or shredded carrots. My husband ordered a thin-crust pizza and was satisfied with his selection. Our eldest ordered a pasta bean soup and found it so filling he couldn't finish his portion.
