I was looking forward to being treated to a birthday lunch at Millpond House, with the beautiful view. We first sat in the plastic enclosed veranda overlooking the estuary which empties into Long Island Sound. On this unusually balmy December afternoon, it was too cold so we moved indoors. We ordered from the prix fixe menu. My Sole Romano entree was unprofessionally prepared (so wrenched in butter; how a novice uninterested in being a chef might cook). The vanilla ice-cream that went with the apple crisp was fantastic, however. I will not return. Disappointed, I'm afraid.
