We have always gone to the Brae Loch for Thanksgiving dinner and never have been disappointed. We saw that they had a Surf and Turf buffet and thought we would try it.

We were warmly greeted by the owner and offered to sit either inside or outside. We decided to sit in and were directed to our table. We were promptly greeted by our server Patricia who was very nice. We were offered a full menu and also the buffet which we decided to try.

The buffet was great! There was a large selection of salads from fresh greens and dressings to pasta salads, potato salads, etc. Fresh fruit and berries (yum), cheese, bread, salmon, relishes and on and on. They had a chicken dish, fried shrimp (delicious), fried clams and fish. They had musseles which were some of the best I have every tasted. Crab legs were good sized and all you could eat. They were cooked just right. They had pasta and sauces that they would also customize with vegtables and saute for you. They had fresh carved to order roast beef, ham and pork. Tim was carving and overseeing the buffet. He couldn't have been nicer. Really good personality an very friendly.

The support staff freshened our table between our visits to the buffet. It was nice to have fresh silverware and clean napkins, especially while eating crab legs. Nice attention to detail.

If you go hungry here, it is your own fault. Something for everyone. Couldn't have eaten another bite. It was very enjoyable to have a non-rushed dinner in a relaxing setting.

Thank you Brae Loch for another wonderful buffet. We would definatly return.

We walked into the Inn in shorts and t-shirts after a couple of hours enjoying Lakeland Park across the street, looking for a bite to eat. It was 4:30 pm on a Sunday, so no food was available yet, but the hostess suggested we get a drink at the bar downstairs and wait outside for the food service to begin. For a Scottish place, they mix a terrific Margarita! We took a seat outdoors and the hostess brought us menus to peruse. Our waitress brought us iced water. We took suggestions and ordered their version of Bonefish's BangBang shrimp - which were a little different, but delicious. I had the salmon special with blueberry sauce and found it to be excellent. The place started to fill up, but we were never rushed and enjoyed the Irish Victory cake which was very yummy. Can't wait to visit again!

We had a great time and the live music was great along with all the dancers, the owners made you feel like family and special request were take if need be the rooms were great as we stayed the weekend we even took a walk to the Lake close by, it was still covered with ice so we did not stay out long, it was a nice drive even though we came from the Buffalo NY area.

We were going to drive into Syracuse to go to Delmonicos, but we decided to have a drink downstairs in the pub, and asked to look at the menu. The bar man Hank, was terrific, and got my martini perfect. We decided to to stay for dinner, and glad we did. We had the poor man's lobster and prime rib. Dinner started with a nice bread selection, and our entree came with steamed asparagus and mashed po. We had a nice California cabernet by the glass. Very nice, cozy dinner. But I want to say that DH is Australian and appreciated the leisurely service, and I did, as well. We did not consider it slow. If you want fast service, go to Applebee's/Texas Roadhouse. This was lovely. DH had cheesecake, and I had some sort of bourbon cake thing that was dry. Katie our server, was excellent. Lovely dinner. $105 for both of us.
