With a son at Syracuse we have been here three times. Each time the food was phenominal. We had a variety of items from appetizers to dessert. My husbands meat one time was tough, and they took it away and brought a new which was delicious. Dana was our watress . she is bubbly,helpful and a top notch server. Steve with host and wine expert not only recomended an excellent wine, but took us on a tour of the wine cellar after dinner. They by far have the largest selection of wines around. Steve is the most knowledgable person I have ever met regarding wines. We also ate at the Sunday brunch in the fall. again top notch..I wish they had brunch year round.
Meals are pricey, but well worth every cent.
Our first visit they let us peak in rooms to see what they looked like. We stayed in room 10 with our family which is a beautiful spacious room. heat was very warm but not a problem until middle of night. Might have been able to ajust.
Staff each time we have visited have been very pleasant, helpful and went out of their way to make our visit enjoyable.
All in all the perfect place for special meals, and over night stay/
