I just got back from our stay at Pollaces, my family has been going up there for years (since the early 1960s).And none of us have ever had a single complaint about the place. Charlie is the warmest most caring person you will ever meet. They really care about the people that come there to have a great time, it’s like going back home to your Italian grandma’s house.
According to grandma you never eat enough so the food is plentiful and that’s how you feel when you are there, they will give you or make you whatever you want, without a look from the waitress. At the end of supper, when Annette comes around with the espresso it the best.
If you’re looking to have a fun relaxing get away (to the old school Catskills) where you can return to being a family then Pollaces is the place for you. If you’re looking for a vacation where you want to dump your kids off and not spend any time with them then maybe this is not your kind of place.
Me personally I enjoyed hanging out by the pool all day and doing the activity if I want or not, your choice. I read some of the reviews that people wrote and they don’t sound like they got what Charlie and the rest of the Pollace Family is doing up there and have been doing for over 65 years.More
