“O.K.”
Reviewed August 21, 2014

We were so happy with our food at "Mariners Harbor" in Kingston, that we decided to eat here, since it is owned by the same people. It was quite a bit more expensive, as the time was too late for lunch specials. The service was good, waitress was friendly and helpful, but the food, while good, just did not quite match thier resturant in Kingston. Still, the view was lovely, and it was a relaxing expirience.

“Enjoy the view with a drink.”
Reviewed August 18, 2014

The gorgeous and peaceful view at Catskill Point is the drawing card for this mediocre restaurant. A perfect, sunny August day made for a pleasant and leisurely late afternoon lunch outside under the tent along the water, sipping tasty white Sangria. Steamed littlenecks were fair, as was the Ahi Tuna. But, the stuffed clams were small and lacking flavor, the fish & chips were over-battered with under-cooked fries, and the wedge salad swallowed by the dressing. The “lobster salad” was a scant half of over-cooked, flat lobster plunked on skimpy salad fixings. The bartender was frazzled and table service was slapdash. The waitress mis-identified the commercial “chocolate mousse cake” as “chocolate mousse.”

This may be fine as a place for a drink and quick bite to enjoy the setting, but the food is poor.

“Relaxing Saturday Lunch”
Reviewed August 3, 2014

This was our first time at this lovely spot. We were treated to lunch by a friend. We were seated right away and had a wonderful table right on the rail overlooking the water. We even saw what we think was an eagle circling above. The food was excellent and our server was Heaven. WE are from the Albany Saratoga area, so it is about an hour's trip - worth the drive and we hope to return soon for dinner and twinkling lights as we watch the sunset.

“Service, view, & food”
Reviewed August 2, 2014

Not our first trip to Port of Call. As usual the service was outstanding, the lobsters perfect, and the view to die for. What we enjoy the most is the attentive service. These servers are trained. The food & drink are awesome.

“What a View!!!”
Reviewed July 22, 2014 via mobile

While sitting on the patio tonight we felt like we were on vacation. The view was beautiful and the service was amazing. We come here often and enjoy the entire experience. We recommend it highly, in fact I shared the picture on Facebook and a few friends are already planning to check it out. You will not be disappointed! P.S. Ask for Melissa to be your waitress :)
