This little gem of an Italian restaurant is located in the small village of Castleton, about 7 miles south of Albany. The interior is very pleasant with a good sized room for dining (which can be partitioned off for private parties) and a separate bar area where there are also tables to eat at. While the menu isn't huge, they offer a nice selection of Italian dishes, with my personal favorite being their veal picatta. The veal is very good (you can hear it being pounded in the kitchen) and the picatta sauce is to die for! There are seafood entrees, chicken, steak and of course, pizza. They do quite a take out business with pizza being a favorite. Lynn is a most efficient, pleasant and friendly waitress and she makes a mean Cosmo! Try this locals restaurant - it's worth a drive.
