“Great park, but cops are there for tickets and socialization, not safety”
Reviewed June 9, 2013

Beautiful park, planned to go down every year with the kids-not anymore. Last year while driving down a secluded road, I came across 3 cop cars salivating to write a ticket right at the spot where the speed changes (because the same speed suddenly became unsafe at the exact point of the new sign)... Fair enough, but within the same hour, our friends had their car broken into near the pool area. Nice to see we had 3 cops all needed to extort revenue and shoot the breeze, while criminals have their way with your belongings. Another friend had a break in last summer too. Won't be going back until they get the meter maids to worry about safety.

“happily suprised”
Reviewed May 30, 2013

We stopped here on the way driving to the Niagara Falls for about 2-3 hours. I was very happily surprised by this place! This is the best place to stop as a warm up for the Niagara Falls. The middle fall was so pretty, with a huge rainbow always hanging across it. We didn't see the hot air balloons launching but it should be fun too!

take a hike on the east side as well, you can see 3 falls at once (middle, upper, and a side fall near middle fall). I highly recommend this place!

“Great day in the Park”
Reviewed May 29, 2013

This is an awesome state park with lots of great views, waterfalls, rainbows and picnic areas. This is definitely a family friendly park. I saw lots of people with dogs as well so bring Fido along with you. There are many breathtaking views, especially the waterfalls. Definitely recommended if you are in that area of upstate New York.

“Delightful Place to visit”
Reviewed May 28, 2013

The whole family went to Letchwoth this past weekend and the weather was fantastic and the scenery going from Henretta to Castile was great! We paid $8 at the gate for entrance into the park and spent the next 2 hours exploring each of the overlooks, marveling at the trees, birds, bridges, and waterfall. Ended the day that the Glen iris where we enjoyed fresh lemonade and coca-cola on the front porch of the historic hotel with the raging waterfalls in front of us.. A great day and a nice time had by all!
