One of the few restaurants in the area that provides a nice place to take someone to dinner. Menu often includes things that normal folks can't or won't cook at home. We had osso buco and a really good pork dish that had a puff pastry crust - not amateur stuff. Good professional service in a nice old house atmosphere...expensive relative to other options locally but a good value for an occasional night out. When I have company in and don't want to cook, this is where we go.
