I have stayed at other local hotels in the past and have spent much more money for much less. I stay in the area almost once a week and have had a wide range of experiences in the area. This hotel has been consistently good and I have chosen to stay there each week over the past few months. The people are very easy to deal. The rooms may be a little small for a large family, but the flat screen T.V. and internet access are great touches.

we arrived about 2am, and really couldn't walk out because finding a room at that time is nearly impossible. the bathtub had, yes, pubic hair, residue from lord knows what, and mold. the sink had hair in it as well. both beds had reused sheets, stained with shoe marks and a pillowcase which had what appeared to be dried blood. the blankets had food stains as well as shoe marks.

we immediately complained and were given fresh linen. we had to strip and make the beds ourselves. we were also provided with a cleaning solution and old towels to clean the bathroom ourselves.

we got to bed about 3:30 am and ran out as soon as we were up in the morning. oh, by the way now i have to address the charges.

may lighting strike me right now if i'm exagerating!!!!

Good location, easy to find. Breakfast items individually wrapped which we appreciated. Quiet, staff friendly. Rooms okay, nothing special. The first room (handicapped bath) we had the 1 queen bed was not fit to even sit on. Very lumpy & flimsy no way to sleep on that bed. Hubby complained, was told the beds were fairly new, he requested another room and after a few minutes of discussion (he is in the hotel industry also), we were given another room. 2 beds, neither mattress was a whole lot better but we were able to sleep. We stayed 2 nights. The International Boxing Hall of Fame is right across the road and a Dunkin Donuts shares the same driveway.

Skip this hotel. The bed sheets were stained, one of the pillows actually had dried blood on it. The highway side is way too noisy. It just was not clean!

The first room we were given smelled like ashtrays and cigarette butts. Since there's no elevator and we had heavy luggage, he left me in the room and went down to the front desk to request another room, which was granted with no problems.

The second room wasn't as smelly (no smell of cigarettes), but seemed to be very dusty, based on the way we both responded. I don't mean that it "appeared" dusty; I just don't know how often the curtains are cleaned or how well the carpet is vacuumed, and I don't even want to think about the bed.

We slept with the window open (no screen, but it was the lesser of two evils) and I vowed that we were hitting the road at first light. We didn't leave that early, but as soon as I woke up I was packed up and waiting in the car for my husband.

If you like to have your coffee and donuts in the morning (or late night), there's a Dunkin Donuts next door. It came in handy for us.

Just the basics but clean and inexpensive. Skip the free breakfast and splurge on the Dunkin' Donuts next door. Room rather small but only real problem was the smoke smell which hung heavily in the hallway. Our non-smoking room was okay, however. A good choice if you want to stay in the Canastota/Chittenango area.

We were seeking a motel close to the Turning Stone Casino because the rooms at TURNING STONE RESORT were very, very high priced. ..like $ 139 a night in July.
Found this Days Inn online ...and got a room for one night at about 70 bucks which was much cheaper than staying at Turning Stone. This motel is right off the Thruway and only 10 miles from Turning Stone Casino which makes it so VERY CONVENIENT to stay here. ( Also it is very close to Syracuse ).
....Our room was very clean.....and the motel was not noisy. NOTE....Offers only a small continental bkfst ...but there's a Dunkin Donuts about 4 feet from the front door of the motel.
We are going to stay here again ...price and convenience are the reasons .
