My husband and I come from buffalo and stay at the inn a few times every summer. Desiree is one of the bartenders inside and is always friendly with a great attitude and sense of humor. Even when they are busy she is always smiling and never flustered. We love staying here because the view is gorgeous and we love the staff. I highly recommend to anyone to stay here If they are in the area.

We spent two nights here on our way to New England with a 12-year-old. The rooms were comfortable, quiet and nicely appointed. The indoor and outdoor pools were great. Best was the excellent restaurant. The three of us had a wonderful dinner and I'm sure we will make a return trip.

This was the 3rd consecutive year that we have spent at the Inn. We always get a lakefront room, and are never disappointed. The staff is friendly and efficient, the rooms are sparkling clean, and the hotel is located conveniently to other restaurants and attractions. We will definitely return next year.

Room Tip: For a spectacular view, get a lakefront room.

We stayed at the IOTL for two nights, and were under-impressed. Our allergies started acting up the moment we stepped in the room. The room had a dark and dank feel, and it looked so 70ish. It is in need of a major renovation. My wife was convinced that there were bed bugs. The price was what got me -- $220/night after taxes, for what I thought was a very mediocre quality.

we have stayed at this hotel a few times before and always enjoy our stay. this trip we stayed in a lake front jacuzzi suite with 2 queens, we all loved the room. It was big, the lay out was really nice too. It also had a microwave and small refrigerator, along with a sink and lots of counter space for our snacks. The pool and hot tub indoor were both clean and good temps on both. the grounds are nice, lots of chairs for lake viewing. The hotel is also in a good location, with stores and restaurants close by

Room Tip: lake front are nice

The property is gorgeous looking out over Lake Canandaigua - there are chairs lining the lake for sunning and relaxing, a gazebo in the shade for a group gathering with an amazing view, dining looking out over the lake and even a bar lakeside. Beautiful setting on the lake side of the hotel. The inside of the hotel was dark with low ceilings, the bathroom floor sticky and the carpet damp. We had a first floor room overlooking the large parking lot. It sounds like the lake side with view were nicer and some have patios. Our room had a window that revealed that the floor of our room was below ground level. We didn't spend much time in our room as it smelled musty and damp. Next time we will try a bed and breakfast.

The restaurant served a wonderful lunch. We were in a rush to make it to a wedding and the server was attentive, the food was served quickly and everyone had been informed that we were in a bit of a rush. The sandwiches that we ordered were delicious - the gyro and the greek wrap - both served with house-made chips.

We enjoyed the surrounding area and took a ride around the lake on Lake Road. Worth the drive to different vistas over the lake and to the town of Naples on the south side of the lake. Breakfast spots in the area were hard to find overlooking the lake. We ate breakfast at the hotel and the service was terrible and the food so-so. Nothing like lunch. The server was rude, rolled her eyes, and rushed our table. When we arrived at breakfast, we had requested a table outside. The hostess went to check and there were multiple tables open. When she returned, she someone if she could seat us there and the person said, 'no, get them to sit inside.' We overheard the whole discussion and there wasn't an explanation given to us other than all of the tables outside were set for less than 6. From the entrance to the restaurant we could see at least 3 tables that would have accommodated our party. Weird.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a lake view
