Upon arriving at this snow covered Chalet, our greeting and introduction to this 1810 Inn was extraordinary. The rooms were very unique and beautiful. We had also scheduled a private 6 course dining experience for our Anniversary getaway hosted by the Sullivan's. John was a true professional, bringing homemade cuisine spaced perfectly, elegantly and tastefully. The meal was delicious. Our breakfast experience was also memorable. The combination of unique fruit dishes, pastries, and homemade entrees was perfect. We will return to this hidden gem and plan to pass our experience to everyone. Great value for special occasions or a simple getaway.

Room Tip: 3rd Floor rooms were beautiful, I suggest the dining experience at the Inn

This was a place that I would love to return to... again and again. Located just outside of town in a very quiet and lovely rural area. John and Julie were wonderfully gracious hosts. Our room was beautifully appointed and very comfortable. The grounds and common areas were well tended to with just the right amount of detail. My husband had to leave too early to enjoy the breakfast, they provided him with breakfast to go. Would highly recommend this to all!

I have never stayed at a place where you feel so welcomed other than with family. John ( the Inn keeper) was marvelous. I stayed there because it was the closest place to where I was working. The price was higher than a chain hotel/motel, but it is well worth the extra expense because of the hostility and the included breakfast which includes a variety of fresh fruits, freshly squeezed juice, and a main course of your choice. I hated to leave and will definitely have to make a trip back with my wife so we can enjoy thus wonderful Inn together. Staying there made the rest of my travels enjoyable because of the memories I have from this wonderful Inn!

We recently spent a wonderful weekend with our closest friends at the Morgan Samuels Inn and were very impressed. From the time we arrived we were made to feel at home by John and Julie. The Inn and its surroundings are beautiful and our room was quite comfortable. The food is incredible! We have had many memorable breakfasts in our travels but the one that John prepares has to rank among the best. We would also recommend having at least one dinner at the Inn as well because ours was superb. The Morgan Samuels Inn is a great place to relax, unwind and make new friends with the innkeepers as well as fellow travelers.

We stayed for just one night. What a shame. We could have stayed forever. In 24 hours I have never felt so relaxed. The owner made us feel welcome from the very beginning. We decided to have dinner at the B&B. It was outstanding. It was only overcome by the beautiful breakfast. Next time we visit, and we will, we will stay for a longer visit. The countryside was beautiful and we will bring out tennis gear. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Room Tip: The suite will be our next choice, but the Rose Room was quite nice.

A beautiful stone inn in a scenic, peaceful setting in the Finger Lakes region. John & Julie Sullivan are warm and welcoming hosts. The rooms are unique and inviting, decorated with many antiques and hard wood floors. Our room had a balcony and a fireplace. The breakfasts were generous and delicious, with a great fruit platter, fresh squeezed juice, muffins, and a nice selection of hot, freshly made breakfast entrees. The dinner that John prepares is excellent in many ways including the food quality, the taste, the portions, the service and the setting. We had a memorable time with wonderful friends.

Room Tip: The Rose Suite was very nice.

Sept 2012 we celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary with the gourmet "Innkeeper Dinner". Each course was more amazing than the last. John Sullivan's attention to detail was un- matched. We had lamb chops and salmon cooked to perfection. Very much worth it, best meal of our entire vacation. We were seated in a private alcove of of Inn, soft music, candlelight, antique china and silver. Attentive but not overbearing service. Elegant dining at its finest.

Room Tip: Garden room has a preivate entrance.
