We stayed here for a wine event and stayed in the 2 bedroom cottages...they were absolutely beautiful, modern and had an amazing view off of the large spacious deck. I would definitely return and stay in the cottages!

My mother and I spent 4 nights at this resort in the Finger Lakes with all rooms at the Lodge/Hotel overlooking Lake Canandaigua. This was our second visit because we enjoyed our first visit 5 years ago so much. The rooms have rustic/Adirondack decor but are very nicely appointed and very clean. Each has a shared balcony overlooking the lake surrounded by mountains. It also has an excellent restaurant which has an outdoor portion open toward the lake with 3 walls surrounding it. We found the food excellent for all 3 meals. The resort is very popular with golfers, as it has a Robert Trent Jones designed golf course. It is quiet and relaxing with a beautiful view. We watched deer come out in the morning and evening to feed. It is also a short drive north of Naples, NY, the grape capital of the world, as well as a short drive north to Canandaigua, which has good shopping, nice restaurants, and several tourist attractions. It is also close to the Finger Lakes racetrack and gaming center. The entire region has many wineries open to visitors for wine tasting and retail sales. I would highly recommend Bristol Harbour and would certainly return for a future visit myself.

We stayed in one of the four bedroom units for four nights centered around a family celebration held at the resort. Overall, this is a nice facility - great location with a spectacular view, and nicely set up -- but was disappointing in a number of small ways that would keep us from returning. In particular, the staff seemed bothered to provide simple service on several occasions (including a waitress who said service was slow because they were very busy when we were the only ones in the dining room!). Be aware that the four-bedroom units are actually laid-out as two, 2-bedroom units on two floors of a single unit. This was fine for our family, but the soundproofing seemed sub-par and the noise would have been a problem had we not known the people below us.

My husband and I went for an overnight anniversary celebration and loved everything about the place. Gorgeous views of the lake from every room! The room was large with a cozy lodge style and included a big bathroom with great water pressure. We slept very well on the clean, comfortable bed. Dinner at the lodge restaurant was fantastic with that same great view. We had a wonderful dinner and bottle of wine and were too full to finish desert. Our visit was so relaxing and enjoyable, that we can't wait to go again.
Off the beaten path so you need a car - but if you want peace and quiet, this is it.

We stayed at the resort in Mid Sept. with the leaves just starting to turn. This was the first week of their Fall rates, so did not find this over priced at all. Absolutely beautiful view from both the restaurant and our rustic room. We ate at the resort and really enjoyed the friendly staff, especially Lindy and Julie.

The golf was very enjoyable. Early morning golf, off the back nine, we saw deer on number 10 and enjoyed a very relaxing and peaceful round. Course was challenging and in great condition.

I did have the most fantastic pedicure I have every had, at the Spa!! The Spa is beautiful and well worth a visit.

We would definitely return to this resort. Thank you for a fantastic 3 days!!

We are constantly astounded by life in what is both a RESORT and a "neighborhood" for families, couples, and investors who rent their units. We are recent transplants to The Finger Lakes and after some stays in awful apartments while hunting for a REAL home, the hubby literally glanced over an ad in the paper advertising this condo for long term rent. Many of these "Cliffside Drive" condos are rented weekly, and we thought our praise and amazement might benefit and help with travler's decision making. EVERY condo has an" off the rails" view like ours. The Sandy private beach, the Sunbathing, Friend making floating wood dock, the lovely Marina, Bare Mountain across the lake, a constant parade of sail boats, ski boats, pontoons full of happy boaters , kayaks and even little Sunni's! After 3 months here, we know one thing. The food in the restaurant is exquisite( oooh the cheesecake!) the pool beyond refreshing the golfcourse~ perfection and the atmosphere ~ BEAUCOLIC! Please look for my photos!( will be adding them later today..)

Spent a relaxing week at this resort staying in one of the Cliffside units.
So amazing were the views that I started looking at open houses.
Total relaxatin at the resort that I booked another week already next year....and we live less than 40 minutes away.
Have visited the lodge for years and have always wanted to vacation here for a week during the Summer.
But....might reserve a week during Autumn to enjoy the leaves and the nearby vinyards.
Top nothch accomodations and the Lodge has a great restaurant.
Enjoyed an amazing massage at The Spa which was unbelievable!
Can not wait to return.
