Love Gateway Grille. Amazing food. I love there omelets and the staff is so much fun and friendly. You can still at the bar or a table and have a magical experience.

We had breakfast for 4. 3 of the breakfast plates were pretty decent diner meals (French toast , breakfast sandwich). The hoome-made sdausage was excellent. Good coffee. However, the bagels seemed like they were maybe a step above frozen bagels, and daily special (grits) was not cooked well. Grits were runny, lumpy, not creamy at all, as if undercooked or instant grits. Should have been cooked longer until creamier. If we had stuck to the traditional diner breakfast fare, we would have rated them higher. Maybe partly our fault for trying to be more adventurous in a more basic restaurant. Still, for the fairly low prices, it was a good deal for the money. Just don't get the grits....

Nothing fancy here but we had lunch and out was very satisfying. Courteous, efficient service and nice portions, good variety on the menu. Looks like a great place to return for breakfast.

We went to the Gateway after grocery shopping for a quick breakfast. The menu is extensive! The place was really busy!
My husband had a short stack of pancakes and I had a breakfast sandwich special. Both meals were delicious. The home fries on my plate were excellent. They weren’t loaded with grease. My sandwich was nice and crispy.
During our meal, we were checked on frequently. When it was time to leave I received plenty of help getting out the handicapped exit into my husband’s car. Such care was so greatly appreciated. It’s that kind of care and attention that makes such a nice visit. We’ll go back and support our Main St business.

We like to meet family at the Gateway Grille for brunch on weekends. It's a busy, lively place at those times but we always seem to get a table quickly. There are some imaginative things on the menu like maple-bacon pancakes. Friendly service. Good place for breakfast and lunch.
