I planned the trip for 47 people. Everyone is asking me when we are going back. Food was fantastic and more than plentiful. Staff was extremely accomodating, friendly and happy to help There were many activities. Rooms were clean but could be updated.

This place was disgusting. The conference center was nice but the rooms were horrible. The rooms, the towels, even the flateware smelled. I agree with the review stating this place needs a good scrubbing. The carpet needs to be replaced in the guest rooms. The management is useless. They allow employees to smoke cigarettes just outside the doors which makes the hallways smell. The food was awful. Maybe if you are not use to staying in nice hotels or eating in good restaurants Villa Roma would seem okay. The staff needs a lesson in hospitality. I would bet there is not one person on staff that has a degree in hotel management. If you have ever stayed in a 4 or 5 star hotel you will be disappointed. This is the kind of place you will absolutely not want to walk barefoot in your room and wish you would have brought your own pillow. The pool area looked very dirty.

Sounds like the hotel is the place to go-avoid the Timeshare if you want to sleep-We had a new unit -it was well appointed but there is NO sound proofing {FIRE CODE???}-One nite i could hear 3 different people snorring- besides my husband!!!(From other units)-I could hear someone's phone on "vibrate" @ 0600!!!!.One evening some one tried to force their way into our unit--she was astonished to find WE were occupying the unit!!! I left several messages with the various staff members about this --NO ONE even followed up! Staff @ the timeshare office never came over to help you when you arrived there with a question -they stayed seated while they discussed things!(-No courtesy here!!!) I have done 100 trades-this resort ranks 100th-Don't go there without sleeping pills and Valium--LG

I am a Red Hat Queen, and 330 of us stayed here for the weekend and everyone from the parking valet to houskeeping staff was super great. They treated us like royalty, and feed us so much I asked them to cut back on portions for next year,Yes, we are going to go again next Oct. I huighly recommend the Villa Roma for a great vacation or weekend getaway. Nancy April, from CT.

We travel extensively and have never taken the time to write on Trip Advisor, but felt compelled to do so after our stay at the Villa Roma, so others can be warned. We arrived for a week in our timeshare and were shocked. The photos on the website are one thing (basically they show the interior of the hotel lobby) and reality is another. Our building entrance had towel/rags laying in several large plastic bag inside the unit on the floor. Once in our unit, the first thing that struck us was the filth. The floor clearly had not been mopped and was full of a sticky substance, the carpet reeked of a mildy, musty old basement and we dared not set our young son down for fear of germs. The unit had no stove (we were promised one) and the microwave stopped working after the first :30 minutes as we used it to heat water for our baby's bottle. The bedrooms promised queen beds and they were full size at best and a quick look underneath them was gross beyond words. A can of someone's left behind hairspray was under one of the beds in the midst of cobwebs, dust and stains. As to the bathrooms --well, lets not go there. Since we arrived late and the timeshare office was closed, we suffered thru one night and then asked to be moved to a building that had what we were promised. The staff worked to find us a new building and then told us we had one hour to move and the harried sense was added too by the cleaning staff stood outside our door as we moved. The new building was better, but not for the money. The furniture was outdated, the beds small and the cooking supplies minimial. We had a small deck, but there was no switch to turn on the outside lights to be found. The place has a very run-down feel and its matched by the limited contact we had with the staff; no one was friendly and the constant construction underway just added to the overall bad vibe. I would rate the entire place a two star location at best

We were at the Villa Roma this weekend for a "RED HAT SOCIETY" convention. The food was excellent, the rooms clean and "very" comfortable and the hotel staff very friendly and courteous. Adam was extremely helpful and patient at check-in. Our servers Frankie and Miriam were outstanding. We had a great time and will definitely be back next year with our fellow red-hatters. Great job Villa Roma!
Sincerely, the "HMHM VILLAGERS"

We had a fabulous, long weekend. The room was beautiful and comfortable. There were lots of activities for our family to participate in. The service was good. We enjoyed the nightlife and the restaurants. We would definitely recommend this resort to others.
