Just checked in today into a timeshare unit. Don't go by the website when you are researching. They claim we are in the best rooms that they have for timeshares...an updated two bedroom, which is a one bedroom with a door that connects you to another 1 bedroom hotel room with 2 queen beds. Where we are staying is probably a renovated hotel they call "mainhouse timesharing" on the map they gave us. It is exactly a "days inn" or "Hampton suites" with two rooms connected with a beat up old kitchen they put a granite counter top on. I asked to see the units that are not connected to the main building- they were not better than the first and are more outdated. The unit we are in appears to be clean but is a mish mosh of old and new stuff and not truly updated. The slide curtains did not shut all the way, box window heaters/ac covered with 1970's paneling, old stove and range, hotel style everything. The employees in the timeshare office were very friendly, courteous and professional. In summation don't expect luxurious at all. This is not a good gauge for an overall review only a review of the accommodations. If you are at all like us and travel often I would have skipped this place based on the unit alone and should have relied more on the ratings I came across when researching.

Room Tip: Assume its average and you will be fine. Expect more and you will be disappointed

Thank you for taking the time and sharing your review with us.

We regret to hear that your stay was not as planned, and that you had several comments/concerns that we would like to address for you.

The Main House Timeshare building of our resort has been renovated in the last two years. This means: new appliances, carpeting, furniture, bathroom fixtures, paint, etc. The Main House is one of our most requested buildings as it is connected to our Main Facility!

With regards to our outside Villa's, these buildings are on a constant renovation cycle. There may have been a chance you saw a building that has yet to be renovated, however, all of the units are clean, and kept in the best possible shape for our guests.

Villa Roma has a ton of amenities and activities to keep families entertained and happy all year long. Our customer service oriented employees, full array of activities, and our multiple venues to enjoy a meal, truly make us who we are today! We want each and everyone of our guests to leave happy, and to make sure they come back for a return visit!

We appreciate you taking the time and sharing your review with us, and hope you do come back and give us another try! Take care!

i am a gran dad that normally takes my family on a florida vacation this time of year. because of
spring break being shortened because of lost school days due to the storm, we decided to stay
"local" i spent 4 days at villa roma with my 2 daughters and 2 grandchildren. we loved it. this was their first cold weather vacation and we had a great time. villa roma is well run with a great staff. we would definitely do it again.

Room Tip: we took a 2 bedroom, 2 bath suite. more than enough room for any family

We stayed in a time share villa during President's week. The villa has daily maid service which was great. We enjoyed: snow tubing (modest hill but fun), the fun park (rock tower, spider climbing tower & bouncy house and only $5.00pp/day), ping pong, warm indoor swimming pool and hot tub, putting contest, Segway experience ($5.00/10min). The shuttle service is efficient and frequent. The hotel has a fireplace on the 2nd level. The ski lodge has a fireplace also. We went to 3 evening shows: illusionist, ventriloquist/magician, comedian and all of us enjoyed them. No charge for the shows. The staff was excellent especially Doc Holiday, Cody, Bill, Jody, the tubing staff, the fun park staff. We highly recommend the Villla Roma and would definitely stay again.

Thank you for your sharing your vacation experience with us!

We are very happy to hear that you had the opportunity to enjoy some of our many activities we have to offer! All of our amenities and facilities are priced reasonably so you and your family are able to enjoy everything we have to offer!

Our shuttle service is a complimentary service that helps bring our guests to various different parts of our resort. As you already know, our resort is very large and sprawling, so on those cold nights, a shuttle is one of those small services we offer, that make a huge difference. We will pass your kind comments along to the Transportation Department about their service. In addition, we will make sure to pass along your kind comments about the staff that you recognized.

We truly look forward to your return visit to us. Take care and thank you again!

Thank you for taking the time and sharing your wonderful review with us.

We are very happy to hear you enjoyed tubing, the bowling alley, and the indoor pools. We will make sure to pass along to Shane and Larry, your kind comments.

Our resort has something to do for the entire family and all ages! We do our best to constantly evolve our Social and Recreation Program for our guests so that there are always new and exciting activities on our schedule. In addition, just as the season changes, so does our entire program, so be sure to come back in the spring and summer, to see what we have in store then!

Once again, thank you for taking the time and sharing your review!

This was our first time to Villa Roma for the winter break. It was the perfect place for our kids to learn how to ski without tremendous amounts of people on the slopes. The staff were all very accomodating from the moment we pulled up to the facility. The lobby was abuzz with people but remained neat and clean at all times. Our room was clean and very accomodating for our size family, we had the one bedroom suite and we were pleasantly surprised at the kitchen area with the full size refrigerator and microwave. All were completely spotless and fairly new. The maid services were impeccable each day and any requests we had were granted with a smile. We participated in the meal plan and were impressed with the quality of the food served. Our waitstaff was so completely attentive to our needs and quickly became familiar with our family and our children's likes. The travel from Long Island was easy and an enjoyable ride. The entire experience was just a delightful family time and we would recommend Villa Roma to anyone interested in that type of getaway.

Arrived at our timeshare room was clean but toilet wasn't working had to call twice to have it. Tried using the laundry but dryer took are money wasn't working after two times housekeeper called and someone came to fix dryer , we were stuck with wet clothes and no money back from the malfunction dryer. Went to the pool where frank the lifeguard was to busy chatting with friend than watching the pool. When another parent called him out on it all he could do was curse at her and tell her she's banned from the pool. This place has got to be the worst ever.

We appreciate you taking the time and sharing your review with us.

We are disheartened to hear that your experience at our resort was less than satisfying. We have noted your issues with your unit and have sent them to our Timeshare Division to look into this a little further.

Our Maintenance and Housekeeping staff do a thorough job checking over and cleaning units not only in Timeshare, but also the Hotel. Unfortunately, when these few and far in between instances occur, we are never happy to hear about them.

We have also noted your concerns regarding the indoor pool, and have addressed them with the appropriate manager.

Our resort prides itself of being family friendly, clean, having multiple venues to eat, service, and having a plethora of activities and amenities for our guests to enjoy. We would love for you to come back and give us another try. Please contact acarlucci@villaroma.com so we can discuss this further.

Thank you again for sharing your review, and we look forward to hearing from you!

Third time I visited the Villa Roma over 15 years. This visit was just OK. The rooms are dated and in need of a renovation, the food is average and comes to the table room temperature at best, the ski resort is in need of some work as well (used to have 4 open trails, now only two).

My room was located just off the lobby and there was a large group in town. Members of this group ran the hallways until 3am. No one at the Villa Roma seemed to care. Additionally, we were moved around the resort for dining purposes to accommodate this large grouping the dining room.

On a positive note, there where plenty of activities to keep the kids and adults busy.

This may be the last time I visit the Villa Roma unless they revert back to their old standards.

We appreciate you taking the time and sharing your review with us.

All of our rooms are on a renovation cycle. This includes our outside Villa units as well. Every few years we take stock of our units and determine what they will need, whether it is a complete renovation, new TV's, carpeting, paint, furniture, linen, etc. From the sounds of your review, it seems that your unit has not yet been updated. We apologize for this.

When we do have large groups at the hotel, we always make accommodations for our other guests who are staying with us to ensure their service is what they would expect. These accommodations may mean moving your meal to another restaurant within our resort so you can enjoy your meals.

Thank you for taking the time and nothing the positive experiences you had with our activities and social recreation programs. We do our best to evolve our programming to include something for everyone. The more participation, the more fun for everyone else! We will pass along these kind comments to our Social Director.

Once again, we do appreciate you taking the time and sharing your review, and we hope to see you again soon!
