“Dominican food - all the way”
Reviewed November 24, 2011

I'm not a big fan of New York, but since my daughter lives there I visit from time to time. One of our favorite things to do there is to eat at Malecon. This is in a Dominican part of the Bronx and is the real deal. I love the rotisserie chicken and the biftek with onions. The black beans and rice, though staples, are great sides. The next time I am there I want to try the chicken soup.
It is very reasonably priced and is well frequented by the locals.

“Hell of a good meal!”

This place is the best! We order from here 2-3 times per week. Try the peril (roasted pork) and the mufongo (mashed plantains with garlic).

“Best Pork Chop Ever”

Something you have to wait for a table.
The food is tasty and the service is fantastic.
If I want to get Spanish food, my friends and I go to El Malecon.
